Forbes.com recently released their predictions for The Next Breakout Stars, a selection of actors who they think will go far. Yvonne Strahovski is included on the list:
The increasingly popular prime time drama about computers and government secrets has built a fan base for Strahovski as NSA agent Sarah Walker. Her star is growing: The Australian actress has signed on for four movies during 2009 and 2010.
Of course we knew she had potential since the first episode of Chuck, but it’s nice that other people are noticing!
Chuck is nominated for a few more categories in the Tator Tops awards, plus TWOP’s Tubeys, so if you’re in the mood to do some clicking, cast your votes below and help keep Chuck’s buzz growing!

Rock on, Yvonne! It’s about time she started getting the recognition she deserves as a wonderfully talented actress! Pretty faces are a dime a dozen in Hollywood – skilled actresses with pretty faces aren’t. Kudos for her – and more success in the years ahead!!! CHUCK wouldn’t be what it is without her. She’s the perfect fit for the role of Sarah – and I’m sure will be great in her other projects as well. So NOW, NBC – It’s time to promote, promote, promote the prize you have in this wonderful actress! The name Yvonne Strahovski should be a lot more well known than it is.
It is only amount of time before the whole world realizes how talented Yvonne Strahovski is. Whether she is matched against another break out actress or a very seasoned actress, Yvonne Strahovski will out shine or out perform them. Like I said on Twitter I wish the reviewers would report the information correctly. Sarah Walker works for the CIA not the NSA. Yes both agencies have worked together from the pilot episode, and Sarah Walker is working under the NSA authority which is the lead agency but they are seperate independent agencies. Major (now Colonel) John Casey (Adam Balwin) works for the NSA not Sarah Walker. I find it insulting that reviewers continue to make this same mistake while either claiming they are fans or aleast giving the illusion that they are very knowledgeable about the show. If they want to be accurate about what they are reporting then they should watch the show beforehand.

I figured out a good way to vote fast. I open two windows and vote on one page and then refresh that page, and then vote on the other page and refresh that page…by which time the first page should have refreshed. It effectively doubles my voting speed.
I’m glad Yvonne is getting the recognition in Forbes. Chuck fans are very well aware of her talents so now it is time for others to see. I truly believe her career has just begun and she will become a household name within 5 years. If I could, I would bank on it.
I totally agree with you Halley Smith about everything you said. If they really watch the show then they show know that Sarah is from the CIA she pretty much mentions it in alot of episodes in season 1 and 2. So there really shouldn’t get it wrong. Don’t get me wrong i’m glad they are writing articles about the best show every or about Yvonne in this cast. I really think they should give out the right information.

Regarding the E! Polls.
There seems to be a big push by How I met your mother fans.
I noticed on Fav funny guy today Chuck has dropped over 2% and Neil Patrick Harris has gained those points.
Also for best comedy Chuck has also slid by about the same amount.
I’m wondering if someone has introduced a script for automatic voting because the rise has been so rapid, when you think about how long it seemed to take to increase a vote by 0.1 %.

Theres an Avengers movie in the work that looks lile its gonna be in need of a butt kicking woman… Strahovski would make an amazing Ms. Marvel
hi. am ac from the philippines. i like watchin chuck… good actors… esp Yvonne Strahovski. i see the potential in her she reminds me of great actors like Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman, Demi Moore, Cate Blanchett among others. why? because the screen practically loves them. they breathe & give life to characters as if they were real persons, and it brings audiences to get really involved in their fictitous characters because it appeals to real emotions and feelings of real people like u and me.
i believe good actors, like the ones mentioned, and i have particularly noticed with Yvonne Strahovski, although lesser famous than the ones mentioned, not only show a dozen expressions, emotions, feelings of the characters that project authentication, but most importantly, done with the most minimal of physical movement on screen. i know for a fact acting school addresses this, and trains aspiring actors to do just that, but only a handful have mastered the art of less movement with authentic projection of feelings, emotions, and expressions without looking overacting or too subtle.
i see the potential of Yvonne Strahovski, and if she or her people do check on fan mail such as this, she should seriously be careful in doing projects that showcase what she does best acting… she has a potential for a character actress based on her acting as i’ve seen. and it’s no exaggeration. i’ve watched possibly more than a hundred films of good actors and am very picky. versatility of choosing good roles and good directors are also good for her. i hope she will choose her roles carefully and discern well. to make careful, but planned good decisions to reach a particular goal: to win an Oscar for best female actor.
she is not just another beautiful face as it seems, but has a ton load of acting capacity that needs to be tapped. i hope this mail gets to her for her to think well about her future in the film industry. and by the way, it was a very wise move for her to have left NSW and move to LA.
