Chuck Me Mondays: “Chuck Vs. the First Date”

CMM HQ has decided to continue Chuck Me Mondays by watching season 2 in order, beginning with “Chuck vs. the First Date”. This episode is not available for free online legally, so you’ll need to either watch it from your DVR or download it from Chuck - Chuck, Season 2 - Chuck Versus the First Date or Amazon.

Also, this week’s Twitter plan is to use the phrase “we heart Chuck” instead of a formal hashtag. For more on the whys and wherefores, visit CMM HQ.

  1. I wish I could watch. Non of those site work. 🙁 SO SAD!!!!

  2. Congratulations to “Chuck” as a show and Zachary Levi for winning EWwy’s today. EWwy’s were presented by Entertainment Weekly to the best shows and actors who were snubbed by the Emmy’s. Fans voted the winners and “Chuck” won for Best Comedy while Zach won for Best Actor in a Comedy.

  3. Unfortunately can’t watch tonight – but I did have my subway footlong.
Also, knowing I had a meeting tonight I watched First Date last night – one of my favourites from S2. I can see why they won the Emmy for this episode’s stunt work.

  4. So the episodes I watch with japanese subtitles are not legal? Who knew?

  5. Chuck Mondays is my favorite thing to do all week!!!!!

I twitter with Chuck fans around the clock nowadays.

  6. So the “technical difficulties” spiel from last month really was just a bunch of crap from NBC. Figures.

  7. The First Date, The Seduction (minus the last 30 sec.) were 2 of my 3 favorite episodes for season 2 (The Colonel was in that group.) Sarah looked more like an angel than a spy. Unfortunately these two great episodes are followed by the Break up which was my least favorite show. Sarah’s disappointment and distrust permeates almost all the remaining season 2 episodes. Although there were a great many super special scenes I think the first date has the best, comedic scenes of Chuck, Casey making the Chinese restaurant a drive thru was superb and Sarah’s excellent fight scenes. Sarah’s fight scenes are probably the best I have seen anywhere. Somebody puts a lot of hard work and creative thinking into making them special.I appreciate there efforts. (Notice my favorite shows have little to no “angst” and no ex-superman.)
