False starts aside, NBC.com is ready to stream all of Chuck‘s second season beginning Monday, September 21 through the season 3 premiere in March. The site will host five episodes at a time, streaming them for 3 weeks before rotating to the next set. In addition the Chuck pilot (episode 1.01) will be available until the season 3 premiere. What a great way to get folks hooked on Chuck and get the total number of streams up to 2 million!
Here are the episodes set to begin streaming on September 21:
2.01: “Chuck vs. The First Date”
2.02: “Chuck vs. The Seduction”
2.03: “Chuck vs. the Break-Up”
2.04: “Chuck vs. The Cougars”
2.05: “Chuck vs. Tom Sawyer”
Wait~5 episodes for 3 weeks at a time? How will we be able to do ChuckMeMonday viewing parties then? We’ll only be able to watch 3 in a row. Why can’t they do 5 eps for 5 weeks? Must be the “new” math.
That’s how they were able to work out all the legalities surrounding streaming. Not quite in line with CMM, but better than nothing, eh?
Of course its better than nothing. I don’t mean to complain. I’m watching the last few episodes now while I can. Right now its Chuck vs. the Dream Job.
So much for catching up on the first 10 episodes in one shot…
I see NBC.com fail written all over this for all non-US Chuck fans 🙁
Once again, we are not NBC, so complaining about the legalities of streaming outside of the US won’t do any good here.
Why is this all so complicated?
Does anybody knows if Nbc Direct is working?

I’m beginning to panic. NBC.com says no full episodes available. Will they be up this afternoon?
Great to see the fans are going to get a good look at season 2. First two episodes are among my top three for season 2–The First Date, The Seduction and The Colonel–The Break Up Ranks last due to the angst generation that permeates most of the season 2 episodes. The Break Up was of course the saddest moments of the series and did not go at all with the slapstick spilling of wine-seemed kind of stupid and was not funny at all. Also did not understand Bryce Larkins logic when Sarah took off to save Chuck.If Larkin had not given Sarah a mini lecture he could have easily gotten the chip. The shot Sarah passed on appeared tremendously difficult, Casey easily had the best shot’ My last 2 trips to an air force military range I hit 120 bulls out of 120 shots and even with a rifle I would have hated to take that shot. If you watch all the episodes closely you will see the doubt and disappointment go across Sarahs face(good job Sarah)-that is another reason I could not understand why Chuck was surprised Sarah did not jump at the vacation invitation in the Ring. I thought he was going to ask her to marry him at first–vacation was really lame-Sarah needs to be shown he loves her not just a short term roll in the hay–especially since Chuck told her it would not work out because he wanted a normal life and she was not normal. This still needs to be resolved in season 3. Everyone, enjoy seasson 2 and look forward to season 3–still a long way to go until March but its better than nothing.
