Finally! Chuck season 2 is available on DVD in the U.S. today, so get your Chuckathon plans finalized! Amazon has it for $36.99. Best Buy also has it for $36.99 with an exclusive comic included. I’ve been told that the 3D episode is included as an extra, so make sure your DVD comes with glasses.
Chuck season three debuts January 10 at 9/8c on NBC with back-to-back episodes, followed by a third episode January 11 at 8/7c.
I just got my hands on a copy at BESTBUY.
Just to let you guys know the DVD does come with 3D glasses (2 pairs) and one ‘chuck’ comic.
Where was the comic?
Does anyone know if the Blu Ray version is supposed to include the 3D Glasses and comic? I picked my copy up today and it did come with either.
I didn’t get a comic, but the 3d glasses were behind the booklet.
* I ment to type “didn’t”
What is the content of the comic book? from my experience with the BB Fringe comic book, the Best Buy exclusive comic is usually a mini version of previously published material from the comic series, or special comic con edition. so does anyone know about this one?
Got my copy from amazon and no 3D glasses or sign of 3D in the extras according to the booklet in the box. Is there any indication on the outside of the package if it includes 3D? How is it packaged inside?
The Best buy comic is a DC/Wildstorm book that was done last year. It was 6 issues long and has been reprinted in a trade paperback 144 pages long. What did Best Buy include?
Curse my budgetary restraint that requires me to shop around instead of just rush out and buy… Probably won’t be much variation in price right on release though.
Sidenote: There really needs to be a countdown timer for Season 3 in the banner.
I got it on Blu-Ray at Best Buy. It was their only blu-ray copy and my local target said their BLU-RAY stock didnt arrive on time.
The blu-ray release did not come with the 3d glasses or episode version and did not include a comic! I was very disappointed.
Also, is anyone else having trouble with the menu’s? On the blu-ray release, the show automatically starts after wb previews, and the menu only features a play all option and the declassified scenes all in one. The background is orange, and a nerd herder is seen on bottom of the screen. Is there another menu that’s supposed to show up, or is the blu-ray menu’s different from the DVD’s?
Sorry, wish i can help you there. My copy of season 2 is just the dvd. But the dvd version works fine and there are no glitches that i know of so far.(for those who are wondering)
This confused me at first as well. You actually need to start an episode and then hit the “Pop-Up Menu” button on your Blu-Ray remote (at least that’s what it’s called on the PS3 remote). That will bring up a menu with the episode select and such that overlays on top of the episode as it plays.
I have 2 menu buttons on my blu ray controller. One (title menu) allows you to bring up the episodes, but only after the disc is playing, the other (disc menu) just brings up the special features
You might want to check your remote to see if there is more than one type of menu button.
I bought my copy today – got the 3D glasses but no mini comic. Those of you who got it – where was the comic? Did you have to ask for it? I think I’ll call best buy tomorrow. Online, it says it should come w/ it.
