Yvonne Strahovski attended the annual G’Day USA Black Tie Gala this evening, part of Australia Week. She was joined by True Blood‘s Ryan Kwanten, The Mentalist‘s Simon Baker, and many more in celebration of Australians making their mark around the world. More photos of Yvonne are in the Gallery.

And it is ashame that Australian Week/G’day USA is localized to LA because the rest of the U.S. never heard of it. I know I never heard of it until a couple of years ago and Chuck came along and Yvonne of course!

Yvonne is totally beautiful. I’m of the mindset that she would have even more of a wow factor if she gained 15 pounds. Her acting is superb. I got a lump in my throat when I saw her come to Chuck’s door at the end of the episode Operation Awesome. She plays joy, sadness, etc. so subtley and genuinely.
