Ready to come out of the Olympic haze and watch a new episode of Chuck? Team Bartowski is back tonight at 8/7c on NBC with “Chuck vs. the Fake Name”:
CHUCK GOES UNDERCOVER AS THE WORLD’S MOST DANGEROUS ASSASSIN— KRISTIN KREUK (â€SMALLVILLEâ€) AND BRANDON ROUTH (â€SUPERMAN RETURNSâ€) GUEST STAR—Chuck (Zachary Levi) promises to cook dinner for Hannah (guest star Kristin Kreuk), Ellie (Sarah Lancaster) and Awesome (Ryan McPartlin) but must first assume the identity of the world’s most dangerous assassin for his latest mission. Meanwhile, Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) is determined to keep her relationship with Shaw (guest star Brandon Routh) strictly professional. Adam Baldwin, Scott Krinsky, Vik Sahay and Mark Christopher Lawrence also star.

Well I guess we know what the sniper rifle in the preview is for, and sadly, Chuck wont kill shaw… (I thought that would be right if shaw double crosses that Chuck takes him out, but guess not.)
I was thinking that the assassin was there to kill Shaw. Chuck takes the place of the assassin and pretends to be fulfilling the contract up until the shot.
Chuck can’t flash because Sarah say NO, I don’t love you.
No she didn’t.
After seeing Chuck broke-up with Hannah…
Sarah Kissed Shaw… pasionatly (finally) in the episode endings…
Chuck won’t flash in last fight…
This is my predictions after 3.08 :
Chuck’s love is only for Sarah, that’s why he broke-up with Hannah. Sarah’s pasionated kiss for Shaw is kind of Revenge to Chuck (she didn’t know Chuck and Hannah are over, did she ?)
And it’s going to be a “HOT” situaion here…
I think, Daniel Shaw will double crosses CIA, because he’s The Ring’s #1 Agent.
Chuck and Sarah love chemistry is going to be hotter than before…
and the Up Comming episodes will be very interesting…

well from my perspective, it’s completely different
*Hannah was like craving for chuck,,,,,so what i can say is that he’s not the type of guy who would ever want to lie or cheat on the girl whom he loves.
for the extream love Hannah had for chuck, chuck had no other option other than to take the most difficult decision in his life.deep inside his heart he knows he can’t be dishonest to some very close person in his life.thats why
he broke-up with Hannah…………this scenario i consider as a great improvement in chucks character because we see know he knows to control his emotions and take some genuine decisions,doesn’t matter what the situation is,,,,,,,Weldon chuck.
I’ll agree with you 100%. I mean Hannah was craving for Chuck.Obsessed liked in a way. That woman was way too easy and guys! you know what that means.

strictly professional”hahahaha…………….Mrs Sam was awesomely PROFESSIONAL.All these days i thought i don’t like Shaw but after this epi hmmmmmmm,,,,,,,,there’s someone i hate more than him.PERSONALLY after this epi i don’t want chuck to be with a woman like Sarah…..to be frank i vote for Hannah,,,,,please please extend Hannah’s number of episodes once again please.she is perfect with chuck.

i would like to see in coming episodes that the same way chuck dump Hannah he must dump sarah and also love to see a episode where Shaw’s wife return(eve) and in front of her Shaw dumping Sarah……Wow……..and after that SARAH must come and beg for Chucks love.and CHUCK SAYING..”SARAH SPIES DON’T FALL IN LOVE”…….
We’ve got to cut Sarah some slack here. After all who does she have that she can talk to that knows about Chuck’s dual life? Casey? Not likely after he has said that Chuck is finally acting like a real spy. Devon? Not likely either since he is having such a hard time dealing with Chuck’s secret world.
So she is opening up to someone that she really doesn’t know, Shaw, but who understands about what she is feeling since he lost his own wife who was also a spy. Of course Shaw is not the kind of guy that I would recommend for her to open up to since he has his own mixed motives with Sarah. I mean if she wants a different life why hook up with Shaw especially since he is a marked man?
Sarah is going through her own seismic emotional upheaval just as Chuck is. She is finally opening up to her true feelings (uncharted territory for her) albeit to the wrong guy. As far as Sarah knows Chuck has moved on to a serious relationship with Hannah and Sarah is trying to find her way as well which is clear from her comment “I’ve spent three years of my life on this assignment” and what do I have to show for it?
My guess is that we will see Chuck ask Sarah if she loves him in the next episode. Clearly the journey with these two characters is getting very interesting!
after watching this epi,hopefully the upcoming epi will set its course on the true feelings of chuck and sam “sarah”.. i guess shaw is already aware that sarah really has feelings for chuck …hopefully in season 4 (hopefull also with this) the writers can change sarah’s character to be more honest when it comes to her romantic involvement. let her character stick to a single male (chuck) and developed a lasting relationship…. if she will continue to fall in love with whoever she works with…it will be a BORING story..its like the down-to-earth guy and the playgirl scenario.

It won’t work. Sarah warns chuck in season 1 ep.8 and 9 when he had a Potential love intrest in Lou.Sarah told him that is hard to have a relationship in this line of work becaus of the lies and deception. The relationship was going to end between Chuck and Hannah sooner or later.
Rule No.1 when you are a spy you don’t a civilian.
I still think Shaw is with The Ring. I think it will all come down to Shaw using Sarah to get what he wants(In the spy world, lol) and then Chuck has to come in and save the day.
Shaw is now locked in the Castle 24/7. How easy would it be to steal information about the intersect.
Interesting idea. And there’s quite a bit of evidence to support it:
1) Sarah and Casey had never heard of Shaw before he turned up.
2) He knows too much about the Ring and what it doing (e.g. he recognized the voice of the female Ring agent on the airplane).
3) His being at the right place at the right time with the right drug so Devon could “kill” him.
But there is also an interesting corollary to this; think back to the first episode with Shaw (where he is sitting on Gen. Beckman’s desk and we don’t see his face). Beckman implores him: “we have to tell them shaw……..” This would mean that the NSA is aware of and/or part of the Ring (or the Ring is part of the NSA) or at the very least that Beckman is in someway involved with the Ring. I don’t think anyone has explained Beckman’s remark.
3.08 was better than expected.
Fight between Chuck and Shaw should have been much more personal…
Bartowski needs to grow a scotum – take some responsibility and move into action first with Shaw – and then with Sarah… rather than always trying describe his own feelings and emotions.
Casey was awesome! Fantastic relationship developement between Casey and Chuck… they are working very well together.

I loved Casey finally getting to show how expert he is at his job! Though it wasn’t a 1700 yd shot only 800 not to much for a sniper. I wish Chuck would have flashed and kicked Shaw’s A##, but it would have screwed up casey’s shot.
Sahah and Shaw have the Chemistry of two corpses. Yuck!
I don’t know what Shaw is up to but I don’t trust him at all! Was he really married is he still, is she dead? Did he fool Beckman? Is he really just tring to split Sarah and Chuck up for making Chuck a better spy or is he trying to remove Sarah and Casey as Chuck’s back up to make him more vunerable? Is he really a double/triple agent?
Good question John.I believe that Shaw is a Double Agent CIA/NSA and still might be still a member of The Ring. Here’s why.
1.He’s knows every thing about The Ring Gen.Beckman never did but Bryce Larkin did.Larkin told Chuck before he died in ep. “The Ring” that fuluom is a part of the that group.
2.He’s purposely manipulating Chuck in believing that he can’t be a great spy because of his emotional attachment to Sarah. Having Chuck to go on these solo suicide missios while Sarah is being isolated from Chuck. By which he is divding Team Bartowski,divide and conquer method.
3.IN the ep. “The Mask”.When Shaw was trying to retrieve the mask on his own and failed, Sarah and Chuck had to do it mainly Chuck. I think he puposely let loose the gas at castle to get close to Sarah.Did you all see the look in his eyes while he rubbing Sarahs neck toward in end of the epidsode? frightning if you ask me.
4.In ‘The Fake Name” have anyone notice when chuck was impersonsating Rafe.
and the contract was ordred to Shaw or maybe Sarah was the Target Let me explain! when Rafe went to Shaws apartment he went after Sarah first next Shaw and then Chuck. If Rafe was to kill Shaw why he do it while he was there at Shaws apartment Sarah was out cold,Chuck could not flash to defend him self, But Rafe went strickly for Sarah.
Shaws has beem manipulating this whole situration every since he arrived at castle. He is exploting Sara’s feelings, he’s micro-manageging Chuck to use the intersect to take out his revenge against the Ring putting the Team at risk I see a betryaal comming soon.
This past epsidoe was fantastic. Chuck finally was in control of his emotions. Sara turned to shaw because she found out that Chuck slept with Hannah. I feel that there will be a lot of angst for us . Apparently the producers are not interested in getting Chuck and Sara back together which is making me loose interest in the show. However I hope I am wrong with the last 6 episodes. Sara will say no. Chuck will gain better control of his emotions and of course the intersect. Hopefully, they will get together or they may not make it to season 4.
Now chuck story line as i say before like OC whereby they tends to sleep with their love interest. That is Chuck story now has lost moral ground. No more like Chuck before. Bad for the series. Hope there will be no more Chuck Season 4. Goodbye Team Chuck Bartowski.
My review of “The Fake Name” was great.Now my opinion
Chuck does not want talk to Sarah and Shaw right now as you see in ep.09 because he feels betrayed by them when he overheard sarah telling shaw that her real name is Sam which is going to cause problems between the three of them personaly and professionsly in future episodes and the team concept has been fractured since Shaws arrival to castle.
For 2.5 years though thier asset/handler relationship,Chuck and Sarah been friends but more importantly they have been partners via the relationship cover as boyfriend/girlfriend. Chuck invited Sarah to his home to meet Ellie
and Devon and made her a part of Chucks family. His friends at the Buy More became her friends. Chuck/Sarah been on missions together risking their lives for each other,laughed together,cried together and been mad at each other a
time or two.Been there for each other for moral/emotoinal support and Chuck told everything about himself to Sarah because he completely trusted her.He went as far as fighting to get Sarahs job back as his handler when Gen.beckman fired her on the episode of “The Broken Heart”. If her real nanme Sam is true!Its very sad.
Theres on lesson to be learned from this episode. Secrets has a strange way of coming out at the most inopportuned time and they can do a lot of damage especialy when it’s based on lies and deception.
Sarah is emotionaly broken right now, and so is Chuck.Both of them are in uncharted territory.When Sarah went to Shaws apartment to talk about the feelings she has for chuck because of chucks actions of lies and deceit,and how it’s afecting his family and friends. But then she tells shaw her real name to a stranger she really doesn’t know excepted they both spies and can relate to each other it’s not surprised.
You see 13.5 years ago I’ve lost a cousin when day he decided to take his own life.my family was devastated,but to make matters worse days after the funeral his friends told us that he was having a lot of problems and told his friends that he had thoughts of killing himself before.The family felt betrayed because he come to them to talk about his problems.
As for Chuck his lies and deciet has cost him dearly. his family,friends,Hannah,and most of all Sarah.He is fighting for soul right now, to regain what he has lost, his respect/character,and integrety qualities that Sarah fell in love with him in first place.And Chuck must pull Sarah out of her emotional state of being she is in right now because he’s the only one who can not Casey and not even shaw. That process will begins in ep. 09.
i’ve started to become a little disillusioned with the direction this season has been going. chuck becoming a real spy is a little too far fetched for me. he doesn’t have the personality to be one even when he tries really hard. i miss the light-heartedness of the previous seasons. i also miss the humor in the buy more with his work friends. i think it’s too obvious of shaw being dirty but something is up. i do hope that chuck will save sarah from shaw which would be a nice twist since she always has to save him. hopefully, they will finally find a way to be together this season ’cause the way this season is going it may be their last.
