  1. Can’t wait for this episode! The previews and promos look great, more like the Chuck I love most. And Sarah back to kicking butt! I’ve missed this side of Sarah.

  2. DVR to the rescue!

Going to see Muse tonight downtown, then Chuck vs. the Tic-Tac will be waiting for me when I get home.

How did we live without these things?

    • I know! I will be counting on DVR as well bc I have to work until 10 tonight. It will be very difficult to focus though knowing that such an awesome ep of Chuck will be airing! Go Team Walkertowski!!!

    • Hahaha one of my friends saw Muse last week, said the show was GREAT :] have fun! Chuck is not just a passion, its a way of LIFE :]

  3. Chuck and Sarah in the field together again, saving each others lives! Can anyone say “Shaw who?” Not expecting instant miracles but maybe just the turning of the tide. Can’t wait (7hrs 15min to go!)

  4. Can’t wait. Hope Shaw has a cameo so we can be rid of him sooner. Hopefully back 6 episodes get Sara and Chuck back as boyfriend and girlfriend. I am loosing interest if this does not happen. Hopefully this will put them back together as they should be in tonights’epsiode.

  5. Ha! finally, an episode without airhead superman there to tongue hockey with sarah, ….sam

  6. Here’s my thoughts on the episode. I watched it tonight in the East. If you haven’t seen it yet, don’t read any farther.

I figured out back in Chuck Vs. the Fake Name that John Casey was really Alex Coburn. Tonight, we learned the back story of how Casey came to being. He was recruited into the assassin life by Colonel Keller, who is now a Ring Agent.

I wondered why Casey would do something for an agent who was knowlingly with the Ring, and the reason comes out that Keller is threatening to kill Alex Coburn’s former fiance unless Alex (now John Casey) will steal a secret pill from the CIA. The pill, called Audonol, is designed to eliminate fear and other emotions. Which would help Chuck flash better.

Mayhem ensues, and Chuck and Sarah team up, first to get Casey out of prison, and when that blows up (literally), to clear his name and rescue his fiance while Beckman wants him caught dead or alive.

The episode pitted great individual fight scenes with Sarah lowering herself from under Casey’s SUV to take out bad guys, Casey beating up Keller and snapping his neck, and Chuck taking the pill then flashing and beating up all of the bad guys. Chuck is able to rescue the fiance.

Afterward, Beckman doesn’t send Casey to jail, but she does fire him and strip him off his military rank. Chuck has to escort Casey out of Castle. John Casey is now a civilian.

Then, Beckman tells Sarah that she remembered Sarah’s request for a new assignment from Chuck vs. the Pink Slip. She offers Sarah a ride to DC on the plane with her.

Best part–Sarah making sure that Chuck doesn’t become just another cold-blooded spy and instead stays the guy she first met. Then, when Chuck is under the influence of the pill and is about to break a young Ring agent’s neck, it is Sarah who snaps him out of it. She still has a stronger effect on Chuck than any powerful mind-alterting drug.

Hardest part (but hopefully, necessary, to set up the final pay-off)–Sarah takes Beckman’s offer to go to DC (where Shaw is, we found out earlier). She tells a cabbie that she’s not from DC but is thinking of moving there. Of course, in the pilot, she told Chuck she just moved from DC. She’s a good liar too.

Funniest part–Morgan’s attempt at spying on Casey, even though it was effective for Chuck, who flashes on Keller. Morgan was eating carrots, which you can hear in the recording. I even remembered from last season, when Morgan spied on Anna in Chuck vs. the Best Friend. Morgan was eating a sandwich in the bushes back then.

What’s next–Chuck vs. the Final Exam is the next episode. Reportedly, this has got a lot of Chuck/Sarah moments in it. Hard to believe this will be the eleventh episode of the season already.

  7. Wow… I thought Chuck vs. the Beard was incredible. This… This was mind-blowing. I mean, what an episode. It tugged at my heart strings in all directions, both for Casey and for Chuck and Sarah. Plus, Morgan is hilarious. Carrots anyone? =D

  8. good episode
but the ending it breaks everthing
    i are sad face
better have an awesome episode next week
    And hope for season 4

  9. This was definately the best episode in Season 3.
Chuck and Sarah back together in the field, rescuing Casey. Sarah in the fight scene… just amazing.
The scenes with C&S when she was making sure that he still remains the same Chuck she fell in love with (although not in these exact words 🙂 ) and when we could see that she surely has a huge influence on Chuck, greater that any pill.
It was good to see them again like that. I can only hope for better scenes between them, as I believe their relationship is one of the main attractions of this awesome show.
So, now there are only 7 days left for the new episode… does anyone feel that it’s just too long?!? 😀

  10. Yea It definitely too long of a wait. It was such a good episode, but the ratings and viewership was very low. That can’t happen often, if we are expecting a season 4. I really hope there is a season 4.

  11. DON’T GET RID OF KASEY! The core team is key for the survival of this, and our hope for season 4!

  12. I agree… having Casey as a civilian just doesn’t seem right. Hopefully he finds a way to get himself back into the good books with Beckman cause… well… its just not the Scooby Gang without Casey ya know?

  13. I agree this was the best episode of the season so far. No Shaw. Casey and Sara kicking butt. Chuck kicking butt. Preview for next week looks great. Looks like Sara will kiss Chuck, however, does it look like she is also going to kiss Shaw too? Next week I am sure Chuck will find a reason not to kill the guy and walk away smelling like a rose. How many more episodes will we have to suffer with Shaw. I hope the back 6 episodes bring Chuck and Sara into boyfriend/girlfriend situations again. Some romance between the two is what is needed to pick up the show. Waitng till the last two episodes so to speak will not wet my appetite for the show. I hope the producers of the show read these comments and move the show more to some Chuck Sara romance. Anyone have an idea if it is true and we will have to suffer with more Shaw?

  14. well considering they have finished filming, i doubt our comments will make any difference.
i cant wait for some more romance, the way chuck was looking at sarah when she told him that she wanted him to stay the same chuck she met 3 years ago (the chuck she fell in love with!!!! XD) and the way he touched her hand was just….sooooooo cute, he has realy pretty eyes lol
but i have to say, casey more than likely isnt down for the count, he’l swindle his way back in soon enough XD about season 4, im hoping there is one cause im hearing enough about it so maybe just maybe its in the works. As for shaw, he’s supposed to be gone by episode 13 maybe episode 12. main message is we wont have to suffer him much longer
