The Chuck season finale is still a couple of months away, but Ausiello has some scoop for us on a very important part of the finale that defies description. They say a picture is worth a thousand words…
It’s the first ever JEFFSTER! music video, and it also happens to be an important part of the finale. Per Ausiello:
“It’s the worst music video of all time,†declares executive producer Josh Schwartz, who declines to reveal the title of the song. He does, however, offer these two clues: The track was once featured in a horror movie, and it ties into the episode’s big climax. “The way the original song was used in the movie is the way we’re using it here,†hints Schwartz. Adds fellow exec producer Chris Fedak: “The song narrates the action.â€
(Sam C H, is this what you had in mind when you called for wardrobe cuts? I’m thinking no.) So, guesses on the horror movie, song, and/or context?

Blaze of Glory! Bon Jovi – Young Guns II
That’s what my money’s on. I’m with OldDarth.
I think you have this one mailed Lou. As soon as they said “western” I knew they had to pull out Bon Jovi. I’m surprised they haven’t used them before now. Chuck is one of the best music shows on. They mix new stuff with classic rock and bring it together nicely.
My money is on Bon Jovi – Blaze of Glory.
If it’s a Western and it has those shots, it’s got to be Blaze of Glory. Remember, that someone is killed in the finale. So, whoever gets killed, goes down in a blaze of glory.
I don’t think young guns II would be considered a “horror” movie. Also the second picture is not a western so it could be anything. Not a horror genre fan, though, so I have no clue.
I fcan see them doing Lost in the Shadows from the Lost Boys 🙂
Okay, perhaps I was a little off on my request. How about just Zac and Brandon? That might be a little better. Although I love JEFFSTER, thats a but too much for me. It’s true, I should be careful on what I wish for.
Seeing this photo of Jeff in a headdress and shirtless is not on my wish list.

Jeffster in another season finale. Last year it was a wedding. Can lightning strike twice? Who could it be? Chuck & Sarah? Casey and his Baby Mama? Morgan & Anna? Martin & Carina? Shaw & Hannah? Big Mike & Morgan’s Mom? Maybe all of the above in one of those mass cult weddings!
Ring of Fire – Johnny Cash?? its a western song but i dont know of any horror movie it was in so i dont know

Looks like the newer (revised?) post by Ausiello has the word “horror” struck through and “western” in its place. If that’s the case then Young Guns/Blaze of Glory sounds like it might fit into the cheesy 80’s repertoire of Jeffster!
