Chuck news never sleeps! This was another travel weekend, so of course lots of newsworthy items came in while Internet access was spotty. Here’s a round up of some goodies that are worth checking out:
- io9 has a new interview with Chuck producer/director Robert Duncan McNeil, who talked a lot about his approach to the comedy on this show, and what it means that Chuck and Sarah are getting together.
- The New York Post has an interview with the always engaging Ryan McPartlin in which he talks about the season so far and tries not to give away anything about what’s coming up in the back 6.
- Mo Ryan at The Chicago Tribune also has an interview with Ryan in which he reveals his Five Most Awesome Moments of Chuck.
- Yvonne Strahovski is still in Australia doing press for I Love You Too so the interviews are thick on the ground. The Age has a video interview with her (yes, they spelled her name wrong) that includes a lot of behind-the-scenes footage from the first couple of seasons of Chuck. She also appeared on the Brig & Lehmo Show on Mix 101.1 with the film’s writer/co-star Peter Hellier. In Part 2 of the interview, they tease Yvonne with one of her first commercials.
- Zachary Levi was at the Lakers/Thunder game on April 18, yelling some advice to one of the players.
- Zac also showed off his singing skills in a duet with Katharine McPhee called “Terrified”. The video is showing on movie screens nationwide that subscribe to Screenvision.
Don’t forget, a new episode of Chuck airs tonight at 8/7c on NBC. While you’re here, we’re still signing up flash mobbers, so check out if we’re organizing a mob in your area and considering joining other Chuck fans to participate.
great stuff coming up which is awesome and I’m finally first to comment Yay 😉
is the movie of yvonne will be available all over the world. ?
I think it’s only in Oz now. Maybe it will be released in other countries later. At the very least, I hope it will find a release here in the states in DVD form at the minimum.
I think sometimes it would be easier to list the things Zac Levi is NOT talented in.
What’s with singing Zach? I have no context for that — all he talks about (& Chuck cast talks about) is scatting between takes and Broadway Tourettes on set. Please give us more context/info on this one!
link to the ny post interview does not work
Zach singing was epic! I totally wasn’t expecting it because he’s never talked about it (at least, not that I heard), but he was great! It’s awesome to see a nice, genuinely talented guy get some recognition.
They spelled her name with the Russian “Y” not the Polish “I”
Zach has a surprisingly warm, rich, easy-to-listen-to singing voice, and I can’t wait to hear more of that in the future.
I heard that he’s a voice in a new animated Disney musical….hope he does his own singing.
Wow, he’s talented!
Man, I LOVE Zac!!! He has such an awesome voice. Dude, just so much talent, that guy. Good for him!!! And Yvonne is, as always, so incredibly sweet in all her interviews.
SERIOUSLY!!! Is there anything Zach can’t do?!?
Since Zac can sing, would it be out of the question for Chuck to seranade Sarah at some point?
Seconded. It would have to be done well, so as to not feel out of place, but it would be epic. How about Chuck vs. the Karaoke Bar?
Lol totally he meets. Badd guy in the bar yeah ssur for the effect of a spy show but he staarts drunk singing magic by pilot that, would be EPIC 😀
