I’ve always thought this song contained something of a double entendre; even before Chuck started using it as a theme- most of us think of terms like “rap sheet” or “permanent record” when considering the official case log of an individual, but most military/police organizations refer to this data as a “jacket”.
What about brazilian fans? I’d like to help to =/
I don’t have an MP3 player and I have no idea how all this works – but I got on Amazon and purchased/downloaded it to my computer. So in other words, “Mission Accomplished.”
I love these ideas that have such a positive spin on them. And I’m assuming Mel is going to be able to milk this – er, garner some positive publicity as well?

I just went to the Amazon page, searched Short Skirt/Long Jacket, and played the sample track. (on the first selection of the available list)
Do you think they keep statistics on how many times the sample track gets played? Yes? So do I.
So if you’re outside of the U.S. and not eligible to BUY the track, why not visit and listen to the sample. And you can do it a bunch of times. Just so they know we’re out there. How’s that?
