Our first solid spoiler for Chuck season 4 is here, courtesy of Ausiello! The title of the season premiere is “Chuck vs. the Anniversary.” Anniversary of what? And for whom? Speculate away!

Updated 07.15.10: NBC just released their fall premiere dates, and contrary to previous rumors, Chuck season 4 is confirmed to debut on Monday, September 20 at 8/7c. See you there!
The anniversary may take place one year after the events in our last episode of the season–it may show that Chuck has followed his Dad’s advice and withdrawn from everyone he loves –he feels to be with Sarah, Ellie and the rest of his friends will put them in jeopardy. In this episode he crosses paths with Casey and Sarah, possibly saving them. Just a wild guess–I still want Sarah and Chuck together for all the episodes of all the series.
I like your idea. I like that your thinking out of the box a bit. Maybe while chuck was trying to find his mom he got into some bad business that threatened the lives of the people he loved,, so he fakes his death. He comes back to save morgan sarah and casey from trouble and he admits what he did and the secret of the hidden base room. And team bartowski teamss back up to find chuckss mom. This is just a speculation not a synopsis. Anyone remember those names on the boxes in the secret base papa B left behind. Each of those names are constellation and the only box that said missing; not captured; maybe the names orion, corvux, aries, etc. Maybe they’re all a part of a top secret organization of the government, all brilliant people selected to create things for the government that could be useful. And then a certain group comes a long and causes a disruption in the group and mama B. had to run in order to protect her family. This is basically all my though hopefully
Hey just want to remins everyone who is speculating as to what Chuck season 4 wil bring and is posting those speculations here that they are just speculations and that while you may be right your probably not. Also the guy hu posted that Chuck might hav followed his dads advice and left everyone alone I have to say i think your seriously off the mark. The producers want a series that will sell because views fell in the last season of Chuck. And a series that is meant to sell would not start with Chuck in no-mans land because lots of viewers would not like that. To suddenly find out that everything going right for chuck at the end of series 3 is now gone would ruin it for many people. Also they would be missing a trick because many people would want to see the events leading up to Chuck leaving (if he did, and i dont think he wil because it is out of character) and they could have alot of scenes of Chucks internal turmoil as he tried to decide whether to stay or leave and THAT would sell shows. Not to mention the fact that as per what many viewers believe to be Chuck’s views on life he could be much more likely to either have a) come clean to ellie about their dad and gone back to spying or b) is doing it without telling ellie and running it from the basement with the fancy lazers and the black boxes.

I think your wrong, Chuck going alone for a few episodes is the right way, The writers need to create tension between Chuck and Sarah and as Josh and Chris have both stated that C and S are together for series 4, The only way they can play off each other is for chuck to keep the secret of his mom from Sarah. Also Chuck will be a spy or there is no show, so I think Chuck will go solo for a few episodes clashing on missions with Sarah and casey…..I think Momma B will be the seasons main baddie with a possible end of season redemption…..
Can’t speculate as to what season 4 may bring. I suspicion the anniversary is the one he shares every year with his sister (being the anniversary when they were left alone without parents to care for them). Anyway season 4 will be an awsome ride. That I am sure about.

Mother’s Day was in “Sizzling Shrimp” (22 October 2007). This doesn’t line up with a mid-September season 4 debut.
I was thinking that maybe it could be the anniversary of Sarah’s red test.
Ausiello provided another scoop tonight. It was based on a question I asked. Casey’s daughter, Alex (played by Mekenna Melvin) will be a recurring guest star in Season 4. So, the idea I have, of a secret Morgan/Alex romance behind Casey’s back is alive…..
Although that wouldn’t really be an anniversary.
But it sure could lead to one!

Fedak and Schwartz have fooled us before with episode titles maybe its some cia spy code. Or it really is charahs anniversary. I could be wrong who knows. Maybe while charah is on their anniversary chuck flashes on some bad people.

In the episode “Chuck vs. The Anniversary” using Imdb.com the ep. will involve something called Opera. Phillipe Simon will be playing the Opera DIRECTOR!
oohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh maybe the “Opera” is some new organiztion could be good could be bad who knows? Maybe the names Corvux and Aries, and all those other ones have something to do with “Opera”. Maybe Mama B. has something to do with “Opera”.

I wouldn’t read too much into that just yet, Issy. IMDb is notorious for having inaccurate information – see the “September 13” premiere date, which has now been changed to “September 2010”. Phillipe Simon could be in this episode, or he could have been submitted by mistake. We’ll have to wait and see!
Well, I guess your right. Though I am pretty sure thee date is the 20th. It could change last minute though. Although The Opera does sound like a cool organization…Fulcrum, Ring, Opera…..such strange names.

The ‘anniversary’ in the title could mean many things:
1.) An anniversary concerning Chuck’s sister and Capt. Awesome.
2.) One year since Chuck’s Dad died. (or so we think)
3.) The anniversary of when Chuck’s mom left him, which would be a cool tie in with her coming into the picture now.
4.) The anniversary of when Morgan accidentally blew up the Buy More.
So could be a few things, I would be surprised if it was one of the above listed.

5) could have something to do with chucks spy life……. Or it could be a mix of a number of these things you know how Fedak and Schwartz like to mix up plot lines make them intersect. (pun intended)
Imagine in one episode chuck gets amnesia he slowly starts to remember that hes a spy and remembers his friends and family but, not sarah. He tries to remember her, wants to remember her but cant, and he knows he likes her, but doesnt know why. When he goes to a pyschiatrist, they hipnotize him and all he says he saw was, shaw. Sarah asks why that is to the shrink and he ask what shaw did, she explains. The shrink explains that maybe he cant remember her because he doesnt want to remember the day she almost died. He supressed his feelings. When she talks to chuck he says he still doesnt remember. While they are on a mission chuck saves sarahs life then remembers everything then they spend their anniversary together. In the end scenec you see a man talking to mama b about how chuck is getting close, he may be in danger, to finding her she says “let him,hes not in danger”. That’ll be pretty cool to me.

The producers are not sure whether this episode will air on the 20th of september or the 27th, their giving it some thought. Imdb has had some inaccurate info before so dont get your hopes up. Some good ideas mentioned, i believe Anniversary has something to do with Chucks Mom however thats just my guess as she is mentioned missing not dead as stated above, so i hope they bring Chucks mom into this next season which i beleive will be fantastic now that Chuck and Sarah finally together. CANT WAIT………..
Remember during the Ring episode that Chuck was told that there were several organizations and (either Fulcrum or the Ring) were just the tip–I think each box in Chuck’s Dad’s basement may represent a different organization–if so, the number of organizations would be overwhelming in number. Without Sarah and Casey it would be hard for Chuck to survive without the use of a gun. Chuck would also have no legal authority without his CIA affiliation. He needs to work a deal with the General and work undercover as a private contractor.

ll eventualy end up on the altar as what they wanted before to have future with each other..Can’t wait for Chuck 4…. and guys,i am one of the fan but unfortunately it is hard to get DVDs or Blueray first hand..Help meeeeeeeeeee cuz i don’t want to
miss any season..
