Are you heading to Comic Con? Don’t want to miss any of the Chuck fun? Here’s your definitive guide to all the Chuck-related happenings during the annual geekfest!
Friday, July 23
6:30PM – Zachary Levi participates in the TV Guide Hot List 2010 Panel in Ballroom 20. Joined by representatives from shows like V, Human Target, The Cape, and No Ordinary Family, this is sort of a genre-show summit moderated by TV Guide. If you want a good seat, either arrive early in the afternoon to beat the crowds attending panels ahead of this one, or be ready to pounce as soon as the True Blood panel lets out at 6:15PM.
8:00PM – We Heart Chuck is sponsoring a “Tweet up” for Chuck fans at Bar Ninety. This event is for those of you who have connected via Twitter and now want to put a face with an avatar!
Saturday, July 24
10:00AM – The Chuck panel kicks off the day of programming with Zachary Levi, Yvonne Strahovski, Adam Baldwin, Joshua Gomez, Sarah Lancaster, Ryan McPartlin, Mark Christopher Lawrence, Vik Sahay, and Scott Krinsky, plus co-creators Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak, all confirmed to attend. Alan Sepinwall and Daniel Fienberg from HitFix will moderate the panel. It will be in Ballroom 20, which is massive, but if you want a decent seat, we recommend being in line at the convention center no later than 7AM. Seriously. Bring snacks.
12:00PM – The cast will be signing autographs at the Warner Bros. booth in the exhibition hall at some point after the panel and the press room. We suggest getting in line earlier, though, as WB cuts off the autograph line at a certain point. (updated)
5:00PM – Yvonne’s Charity Tennis Tournament back in Los Angeles to benefit KenMar Dog Rescue is an opportunity for fans to support a worthy cause and get some exercise. We know several fans are planning to drive up for the event; perhaps y’all could carpool?
6:00PM – War of the Worlds: Goliath is an animated, 95-minute, battle epic set in a Steampunk 1914 Earth that has rebuilt and rearmed following the failed Martian Invasion of 1900. Set for release in early 2011, War of the Worlds: Goliath features voices by Peter Wingfield, Adam Baldwin, Elizabeth Gracen, Jim Byrnes, and Adrian Paul, among others. Adam is NOT currently scheduled to appear on the panel, but it’s always possible he’ll pop in as a surprise guest.
6:30PM – The Second Annual ChuckTV.net Comic Con Fan Meet Up, hosted by Mel & Liz, is a chance for Chuck fans to get together and discuss everything we found out at the panel, speculate on season 4, and more! Be sure to RSVP so we know you’re coming.
Swag!
Warner Bros. is producing their exclusive giant Comic Con bags again this year, including one featuring Chuck. These bags with built-in poster tubes will be distributed randomly as convention-goers check in. Keep those fingers crossed for a Chuck bag!
Next Week
The fun doesn’t stop when we leave San Diego! Watch for a Comic Con special edition of Chuck vs. the Podcast, filmed on location, plus photos, reports, and videos. Be sure to follow us on Twitter for live updates (Mel has a habit of Tweeting photos from the press room).
FYI – WB has posted that the Chuck cast autograph signing will be from 12:00-12:45pm Saturday at the WB Booth: http://www.thewb.com/comiccon/schedule (Hit the tab for Saturday).
Thanks, Riso.
To tell the truth I have never been interested in those type of conventions, but going to a Chuck panel would almost make it worth while. Unfortunately, I will just have to settle for seeing video clips and commentary about the event. Thankfully I will have a Chuck podcast to fill my void.
I know it doesn’t exactly fit with the theme of this posting, but I wanted to get the word out.
E! has a new poll, top 20 shows of the past 20 years. Chuck is in the poll.

wow..signing for only 45 minutes?! probably only 50 or so people will be able to get in line.
when I got autographs last year they only let in 100 people and signed for an hour and a half it seemed.
Yes you are absolutely right about this. You must be really lucky if you are able to get an autograph or speek to them personally. But nevertheless it still is a nice day out…It is like a lottery, you might win it
Possible spoiler scoop: The “official” Chuck Comic Con poster (the WarGames simulation) still features the General! http://livefeed.hollywoodreporter.com/2010/07/chuck-comic-con-posters-pics.html
So, does this confirm her return next season?
