Ausiello has more Chuck scoop for us this week, involving Greta in episode 4.04 and two episode titles.
Question: Any chance you could give us the title of Chuck‘s third episode? And if you’re feeling extra generous, an extra scoop on top of that? —Conor
Ausiello: “Chuck vs. the Cubic Z,†is the title of episode 3. And since I am feeling extra generous, the title of episode 4 is “Chuck vs. the Coup d’état.â€Question: Who will inherit the role of rotating Buy More spy “Greta†in Chuck‘s fourth episode? —Joel
Ausiello: Funny you should ask. “We don’t have a Greta in episode 4,†says exec producer Chris Fedak. Adds fellow EP Josh Schwartz: “The Buy More is not in that episode. Chuck’s away on a mission.â€
I find it very interesting that our first three episodes are “Anniversary”, “Suitcase”, and “Cubic Z”. Maybe it’s just me, but those all seem tied to “wedding”. Meanwhile, in “Coup d’Etat” Chuck is away on a mission. This is also the episode where Armand Assante will reprise his role as Premier Goya, so it sounds like we’re going to take a trip to Costa Gravas!
Is a Cubic Z like a Ring? OMG, what if Chuck/Sarah get engaged this season? That would be sweet.
Well, if(Wish I could say ‘when’) Chuck and Sarah get engaged, I would imagine it would be with a REAL diamond…not a cubic zirconia. 😉 Just sayin’…
I think they are actually trying to confuse people (as it was the case on “Chuck vs. the Ring” and “Chuck vs. the Subway”, the ring and the subway were not what we all where expecting) with this title, but I think they might get engaged during this season. I just doubt that Chuck would (plan to) propose in a less than ideal situation (with Zirconia for instance).
We have to keep in mind that the emphasis might be on the word “cubic” and not on the “Z”. We cannot forget that there was an intersect cube, and the cubic Z could be a reference to that or to some later developed technology.
Well, aside all that, I am really looking forward to Chuck going international once again.
Awesome that Armand Assante is coming back.
Maybe this means that super spy Chuck Bartowski will need help from a certain spy by the name of Devon Woodcomb on this mission.
We all know Dr. Devon has a thing about helping “stinking commie despots”, as Casey would put it.
A Cubic Ziconia? Please Chuck, can’t you get the huge diamond from Versus the Wookie?
He could but I dont think that sarah would want that one
Nothing like stirring the proverbial pot Mel to get us all hyped for season 4. Still the number of posts you have had over this week shows that everyone is getting pretty excited. May the enthusiasm for Chuck continue and bring many new fans into the fold.
I cannot wait to see ep 4.04. Team B on vacation with Armand Assante. What could possibly go wrong? *cough*everything*cough*
Am i the only one that thinks that chuck and sarah getting married wont be such a good idea? Sure it would be great if they stayed together as a couple but married? I dont want them to be like devon and ellie.
Marriage is something i would like to see when the show comes to an end or atleast when they are sure its the last season.
Don’t worry; even if they get married, Chuck and Sarah will never be like Ellie and Awesome. They are spies, and they have it in their blood; they need their adrenaline shot. I totally can see them as a married couple, but not a “normal” married couple.
Indeed. Chuck and Sarah will never be like Devin and Ellie. I go as far as to say that the writers would make their marriage anything like the Awesomes’. They are EPIC writers after all!
But, I do not think that they would have them engaged within the first 4 episodes.
I should have specified what “extra” scoop I wanted when I asked this question, since we already knew the title for 4.04
Ah well, next time!!
I don’t want them to get married just yet. Maybe later, sure, but a few episodes into the 4th season? DNW. And much less with a Cubic Ziconia 😉
Methinks Chuck and Sarah would get engaged first (during the first few episodes). It’s only near the very end of the season (even the last episode) that they would get married I think.
You know what I think an AWESOME idea for the season finale might be? Chuck, Sarah, Casey, and ALL of the Gretas storming into the facility holding Mama Bartowski with automatic weapons! It would be AWESOME to have Stacy Keibler, Olivia Munn, Isaiah Mustafa, etc. sharing the scene for an EPIC moment!
Howdy yall –
just one more subtle spoiler I guess you could say…
“Big Mike” – sent a twitter photo not long ago – which clearly showed both Jeff and Lester back at the Buymore – wearing their nerd herd uniforms…
So it would seem that its safe to go back out on the streets – if Jeffster is back within the safety of the herd. My guess from the current shooting schedule – they’d appear in 4.04 or so….
I thought 4 had the conflitc with Ritchi–is that 4.03? I thought that episode would be the one where the Sam issue was resolved–probably not!If you recall Shaw kind of drove the lack of informing Chuck about Sam in the form of a barb to Sarah. I think Chuck and Sarah getting married would be awesome!!!
Cubic Z – someone mentioned it might be an intersect reference. Papa B probably had a whole stash of weird and interesting gadgets in his lair and we might see Chuck trying a few out for grins and giggles as well as the trouble they’ll get him into… Cubic Z could be an intersect like device like the sunglasses in that other episode which temporarily load up one thing/program…
or…
Chuck sends Morgan to find him an engagement ring and he spends it on something else accidentally like a journey arcade game or something… lol.. and has to use the remaining money for a cheaper cubic z ring which turns out to be a tracking device for the baddies… nah…. probably not… 😉
Sarah Walker. . .Deadly Spy. . .would MURDER Morgan and bring Chuck close to death if that happened. Haha, or maybe Col. Casey would offer his services to do that for Sarah.
. . .Morgan proposes to Alex with a Cubic Z?. . .
