This is the best podcast you’ve done … very entertaining … more like this please.
I’m sitting on the fence about whether Sarah broke their “no secrets, no lies” agreement. I can see both sides of the argument. On the one hand, Sarah always has Chuck’s best interests at heart and knew that if she told him what she was planning to do he would try to talk her out of it. On the other hand, it will be difficult for Chuck to understand why Sarah betrayed him.
I recall seeing something in the synopsis for “First Fight” that said, “Chuck goes on a rogue mission to avoid confronting Sarah …” and I hope that’s not the case. They need to take a page out CNN’s book and have a heated debate about what happened. No more ‘Mr Nice Guy’ … it’s time to “Unleash the Chuck!” 🙂
Lou needs to watch the aisle of terror parts again without the blinders on. They tie the Buy More in to the mission like they always do. Jeff and Lester save the day without knowing it once again. The whole point was the images only drove crazy people crazy (except for man-feet, everyone hates those) Chuck even has a flashback to remind everyone.
Lou saw the episode and saw the tie-in. David needs to listen to the podcast again. I said the tie-in payoff was not worth it. Especially because of the way they dumbed down Chuck and Sarah with the toxin release in the Castle to achieve the tie-in.
I’m with Lou on this: the whole section of the show where Sarah is defusing the weapon and Chuck suffers from the booby trap was both predictable and derivative. The nature of these inconsistencies with character and story line disturb my enjoyment of a great show.
Hello 🙂 Is it OK that I kinda off topic? I’m trying to read the blog on my new Blackberry but it doesn’t show correctly, do you have any recommendations? Shall I try to find an fix for my computer or something? Thanks! Tana x 🙂
Can’t get this one to work 🙁 Will keep trying – looking forward to your thoughts on this one. I think I’ve watched it 8 times already!
Lou, I thought of it…the word that describes why you are so annoyed with scenes where Sarah and Chuck walk straight into trouble messing with bombs but taking no logical precautions. It is hubris (ever read Isaac’s Storm?)
Anyway, I thought you might like that word.
