Co-stars Yvonne Strahovski and Zachary Levi attended a party hosted by Audi and designer J. Mendel in Los Angeles last night to kick off Golden Globes week. The awards ceremony airs Sunday, January 16, on NBC, and it is expected that at least Zac will be presenting if not both of them to take advantage of some extra exposure before new episodes of Chuck return January 17. Nice photo of my two favourite colleagues. Simply adorable how professional they are with each other. It would be cool for them to present together at the Globes, since they did so well at those teen awards a couple of months back.
I have to agree about their presentation at the Teen Choice Awards. What presenters are given to say at these awards shows is usually awful, and when the presenters obviously have never met before it descends into horrible. They made it work by being comfortable enough with each other to laugh at the material and themselves.
I have always said that Zach and Josh Gomez need to start their own late night talk show or do a lot of presentations, because together they are dynamite! They are very engaging and some people just have that natural ability and personality to be orators, that is zach and josh. They were so in charge of comic con and fans always ask them the questions, they are awesome. Having said that I did also appreciate what Zach and Yvonne did at the Teen Awards, great banter and they looked relaxed.
My fav Zach/Josh moment was the “have his baby” push for renewal.
I always theorized that’s why their kisses look a bit awkward on the show: because they are such good friends. Perhaps not at the level of Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston, but Yvonne looked genuinely happy when she presented Zach his pimped-out golf cart on George Lopez. I would guess if either of them had to kiss anybody else on the show (Yvonne more likely, as the only other female Zach could kiss plays his sister.), it’d be a similar state of awkwardness.
Acting’s like any other job: it’s so much better when you like your co-workers.

It’s so cool that Zach and Yvonne are getting along so well in real life, because you “have” to trust your partner when you are playing “couple-y” scenes like they do! They are constantly doing an amazing and believable job!
I think their attendance at activities like this is important for them as much as for this show–networking, networking, networking. I forgot-is Yvonne on Twitter or Facebook–What is the contact info.? How about Zac?

I agree with your observation PJM and with the tepidness of their kisses lately (side of the lips smooches) they may as well be kissing their siblings.
The critism of the kisses is harsh! How does it look like the are kissing like siblings? since the actors have already stated that when you kiss another actor there is an emotional disconnect, so they do not care that they have to do it….I think people are reading way to much into something that is not there, crazy!
Also it is a shame that two actors cannot be friends and attend an event before some fans take it a step too far, I am glad that Zach and Yvonne can ignore that and still be willing to pose for photos, kudos to them! I for one would never let some peoples actions inform me on who I can be friends with and not to be friends with! again Bravo and good luck with their careers.
Jeeze. I don’t care whether they’re friends or dating in real life but within the process of the so called “disconnect” make the kisses believable and apropos for a couple in love. I’ve watched hundreds of actors do the “not exactly on the lips” thing. Who kisses someone they’re madly in love with like that? Certainly not at the beginning of the romance. You’ve got your perspective and I’ve got mine. The kisses are nondescript to me. Just sayin’.
Erm….this is not exactly a new romance they did cover date for like 2 and a bit years before they were together in the biblical sense and if you remember those kisses were those of a new romance, of people madly in love. Now when your in a real life relationship for a period of time you do kiss like they kiss….it is just toned down because your emotions are more even…and the kiss on the side of the mouth? that happened what once or twice?
I don’t think we’re going to see the white-hot snogfests anymore, the likes of which we saw in the bedroom scenes in “the Colonel” and “the Other Guy” where they were first getting their hands on each other after months of unresolved longing. They now live together, presumably doing the mundane things that all couples do (between spy missions of course!) and their displays of love have taken a more measured tone. The writers and directors ask for these things and the actors deliver. Zac and Yvonne haven’t taken it upon themselves.
