It’s Crunch Time: #NotANielsenFamily Needs You!

Tonight’s episode of Chuck is the final one to air before NBC announces, and possibly makes, their decision about a fifth season. In addition to the ratings, Chuck fans know that happy advertisers make a big impact on that decision. WGAC’s #NotANielsenFamily campaign targets those advertisers and lets them know that we, the Chuck viewers, see and remember their commercials and product placement. So far the campaign has generated surprised and pleased reactions from advertisers, but tonight we need to go above and beyond. We need to “melt Twitter down“.

  1. I just can’t imagine watching Chuck vs the Cliffhanger knowing it would be the last Chuck I ever saw. I just can’t have that!

    • If that is the case, I’ll cry through the whole episode. Chuck is sort of a friend of mine, and I can’t have another friend ditch me, like the time a friend of mine died before season 3. Three days after the funeral, Chuck reruns were on SyFy. Chuck was there for me in my darkest hour. Who’ll be there for me now? TV will not be worth it anymore. This is depressing, and I pray to God Monday is not the end.
      SAVE CHUCK!!!!
      for my sake!

  2. The worst part of all is that NBC doesn’t appear to be advertising / promoting CHUCK. I was watching NBC on and off today, 5/9/11, and no previews. Isnthat because they are behind the show or have given up???? Let’s hope behind it!

  3. I love watching Chuck! I will be very disappointed if you remove this show. I’m not sure I can bring myself to watch the TV show that will replace Chuck. If it up to advertiser please take note as a viewer of NBC shows I will think twice before I support there programing. Please bring Chuck back! It’s also nice to have a TV show like Chuck that is for family viewing. Advertiser should note that the economy may have to do with poor sales,

  4. i couldnt agree with u more

  5. @Christina it’ll suck soo bad if that happens!!

  6. @Connie I cannot agree more with you. I don’t know if i can bring myself to watch another show after Chuck either. It will be damn hard, if not impossible, to find something that could merely step on Chuck’s little finger. And i also agree that the advertisers and NBC should realize that Chuck needs very little advertising in order to get the ratings up. This is one of the shows that is very affected by a decrease or increase in advertisement.
P.S. Sadly our society has become such one that cares only for the profit and not what is worth doing.

  7. They must have spent all their money promoting “The Voice”. I don’t know if it’s a good show or not, but I’m sick of it getting ALL the promos.

    • Yeah, the Last Details was quite disgusting in that aspect. At one time during the episode, there was one of those obnoxious bars at the bottom of the screen promoting the Voice, and the stupid thing was so big that it took up about a 5th of my dang screen. Like I said, disgusting. By now, I’ve gotten and currently am totally disgusted and pissed off at NBC’s utter and obvious lack of respect for the show, their extremely poor handling of it (especially as a lead in) and their ridiculous lack of intelligence about everything surrounding it. Gee, NBC, it’s certainly very smart to promote other shows like crazy during the lead in, but what about promoting the lead in itself? If you don’t promote the lead in, then it’s not going to get as many viewers, which means even less people see your promos for the other shows, which makes promoting those other shows during it even more pointless. IDIOTS. Right now, I’m just hoping that Comcast will recognize that it’s totally NBC’s fault that the show gets bad ratings and that Comcast will correct the numerous huge mistakes that NBC has always made and isn’t smart enough to recognize, and that maybe they’ll finally give the show a chance to realize its potential.
