Zac Hits Head, Goes Back to Work

How’s this for an example of how dedicated our man Zac is? According to E!, he had an accident on the set of Chuck on Monday, was briefly treated at the hospital, then went right back to work.

Zachary Levi is a headbanger—and not in a good way.

The star of NBC’s Chuck was briefly hospitalized at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center earlier this week after accidentally banging his head on the set during filming, E! News has learned.

According to a source, Levi was running to shoot a scene when he ducked under part of the set and knocked his head against a camera. He was transported to the hospital, where he had staples put in his head to close a gash.

A doctor subsequently ordered him to go home, but the 28-year-old thesp instead opted to go back to work, not wanting to delay production.

“They were shooting at a location that they didn’t have for very long, so he refused to go home and instead went back so they could keep shooting and stay on schedule,” the insider says.

A rep for Chuck confirmed the accident occurred but declined to comment further.
