Our buddy (and frequent object of envy) Kath at Give Me My Remote had a chance to ask Chuck showrunner Josh Schwartz questions submitted by fans recently. Here’s an excerpt:

Chuck vs. the Big Sister

We all want a big sister like Ellie Bartowski, but we also want Ellie to have a life of her own.  With fans clamoring for Ellie to have a life outside of worrying about her little brother Chuck, I asked Josh what was up with Ellie and what was in store for her in upcoming episodes.

“Ellie and Chuck’s relationship is the glue of the show, the emotional core, the thing that keeps Chuck’s world believable and grounded. She worries for him, not as a spy or a Nerd Herd employee, but as a human being.  That said, yes she’ll be getting some fun different stuff – starting in 2 weeks with the arrivals of the Awesomes, the escalation of pre-wedding anxiety to Awesome, and a new storyline you will get a taste of by the end of Chuck vs The Sensei.”
