Fans have been wondering why we didn’t see Sarah at the Orange Orange toward the end of Chuck season 3. When we visited the set in July, we didn’t get to see that soundstage (the yogurt shop and Castle are separate from the Bartowski/Casey apartment complex), so our curiosity remained unappeased. Fortunately, Matt Mitovich from Fancast was able to go right to the source (aka Yvonne Strahovski) and get the scoop:

I share with with a heavy sigh, Bruce: Sarah’s Orange Orange uniform appears to be a goner. “I don’t know if Sarah’s going to have a cover this season, now that everyone knows she is a spy now,†Yvonne Strahovski tells me. “There isn’t any need for it.â€
What do you think? Will you miss the Orange Orange? Or is it time for Sarah to give up the yogurt cover and go hardcore spy?
Sure, I’m going to miss it! The Wienerlicious and Orange Orange were an important element of the show and its look! I want the cover job back (or a new one 🙂 !)

I guess it’s the only way to go now, now that everyone in the family knows she’s in the spy world. Bye bye Orange Orange, it was good while it lasted.

Or better yet, make her a “Buy More” executive. Maybe an accountant or something that doesn’t need to work “on site” all the time to cover for how often she disappears to do other things.

We already saw that once before. I’m sure we’d all love to see it again, of course… and I’m sure she could do it again if she had to, but unless she has been spending time on “nerd lessons” with Chuck it almost certainly won’t be used for more than a “diversion” situation.
Good suggestion Bree! Of course I still don’t get why the Buy More, even a CIA operated Buy More, is a good idea considering the fact that any Fulcrum or Ring baddies that are still out there know or at least have their suspicions about the Buy More being a CIA front?

I agree with Bree, a stint as a herder would make the world a better place.
I am curious as to what Sarah will be doing during this coming Season of “Chuck,” but if it means closing the Orange/Orange, I’m sure whatever happens in the coming episodes will be clever and fine. Sarah’s yogurt shop was a place for her to keep an eye on “Chuck” and the BuyMore, so now that the BuyMore has been completely taken over by the CIA, I’d expect Sarah to be in a cute NerdHerd skirt and blouse. Or, maybe not. We’ll find out in September!
Sarah should be part of the nerd herd now.
mmm i actually not going to miss the orange orange cos I just don’t think it was ever as cool as the wienerlicious, that is something I’ll always miss!
They can get rid of the Orange Orange but still make her wear the uniform.
So long Fro Yo Ho. Hello Nerd Herd. She’ll look good in any uniform they put her in anyway. It makes sense she’d work at the Buy More now if the CIA is running it. How Big Mike and Jeffster fit into that type of scenario, will be interesting to see.

I am becoming a fan of Doctor Bob’s comments! Had to laugh reading this one…
BTW, if she doesn’t need a cover job, what will she do during the day, when there are no missions? Stay at home? Cook? That would be pretty boring… There is not enough paperwork at Castle to keep her busy for 8 hours a day, and she can’t train/work on her fitness for that long every day.It would make perfect sense if she worked at the buy more.

Sarah as a Green Shirt I could see, as a nerd herder. . .not so much. If you recall, she doesn’t know a lot about computers, that’s Chuck and Jeffster that know about the computers, the only way it would work is if she always went on calls with Chuck, he did all of the work and she just collected the pay check.
What I would find awesome is if Sarah became a Green Shirt and Col. Casey moved into the newly opened gun store that used to be the Orange Orange. It would be a chance to see the Col. in his natural environment. Haha

I reckon we could see a “Mr and Mrs Jones” scenario for a while.
If Sarah moves in with Chuck into the old Bartowski home – they will both be living the suburban dream hinted at in another episode (the one with Jenny McCarthy).
But if Chuck hasnt told anyone about the secret base in that house…

Goodbye Orange Orange, Hello Underpants N Things!
The Orange Orange was a good place and has some good memories associated with it –but we need to move on–to bigger and better things–I hope–Sarah did look good in the uniform.

I agree with her, there’s no need. However, it doesn’t mean it won’t be missed. It was a big part of “Chuck”, the adorable side and unspoken love between them. I AM very much looking forward to season 4 and where it will take them.
Awwww. I will miss the Orange Orange cover, it was my favorite as well! The Weinerlicious cover was fun and cute but i always thought the Orange Orange was sexier and more practical. Something a girlfriend or wife can wear without feeling too cosplayer-ish, heh!
I liked the Wienerlicious, so I missed that when they took it out in season 2. But the Orange Orange was good too, so I am going to miss that.
I think that Sarah definately still needs a cover. She needs something to do when Chuck is at the Buy More. If she no longer needs a cover than Chuck wouldn’t need one either and the Buy More would be gone also. If Sarah doesn’t work next door how does she get into Castle? They would have to make her a green shirt at the Buy More.
So what the orange orange is gone. have her get a job at large mart
