  2. OMG OMG OMG! Now season 5 is gonna rock! Its gonna be Mr. and Mrs. Bartowski vs the World. Now that is what i call yeeehaaa!

    • I really had a very very strong feeling this was how Season 5 would be launched. I think this’ll be the most interesting storyline yet.

    • I told my husband the same thing after watching these last night! I think we’re going to end this season with Chuck and Sarah running and next season will be focused on them fighting their way home. You can still have the supporting characters, because now that everyone is in the loop (Buy More excluded. I loved the Buy More crew once, but can we just scrap that subplot now?) they could be fighting on the other end to find them. Imagine the emotional payoff of having Ellie and Chuck reunite!

      . . . I kind of love this idea!

  3. looks really good. Although why is this decker aka the eraser right? helping vivian? Is the CIA trying to cover the tracks about her farther?

    Fingers crossed for season 5!

  4. well the promo looks great but ive never seen a tv show with a boat chase scene in it
I dont see any reason why not it wouldnt be too expensive

  5. Holy crap I can’t wait for this. 105 hours and counting Chucksters!

  6. Wow this is a whole lot of awesome!!! Too bad I have to take a final during the finale so thank goodness for DVR!!! Season 5 here we come.

  7. Fantastic! What a way to springboard into an entirely new direction. The “Oh boy” might relate to the new identities. Now CHUCK and SARAH become the hunted vs the hunters. It should take 13 episodes to get them back into the good graces of the CIA :-)…. Spread the word, people NEED to watch this one!!!

    • Seriously, you really believe that the season will end up like this? Chuck & Sarah forced to run away together, never to see their family and friends again, and tracked by the CIA they served for years? The ending was supposed to be ok, even if it was a series finale. Plus that would imply that they won’t get married, since Casey tells Chuck to give Sarah the antidote and run away, I’m not so sure all fans would be ok with such en ending.

      • Oh, believe me, I assume they will be married at the end based upon the preview and the “Oh Boy!” But that doesn’t mean they can’t end with the cliffhanger that they are on the run from the CIA.

      • i dont think they’ll end up running away either

  8. Oh God!! I CAN’T wait. This looks SOOOOOO good. I had tears welling up with the “ice bath” scene with the “Chuck and Sarah theme” playing in the background.

I am boing to be Facebooking all my “peeps” to tell them even if they’ve NEVER watched an episode of CHUCK, EVER, to tune in on Monday night. I don’t care what the ratings will be. This just looks like it has the makings of one of the best episodes of CHUCK EVER!!!

YES!! YES!!! YES!!!!!! Bring on Monday Night.

And God bless Chucktv.net, all the other Chuck blogs and all you Chuckaholics. CHUCK has been my “release” on Monday nights for the last four years. Don’t know what I would have done without it. And now it looks like we’re getting a 5th season to boot.

Sorry to get overly religious here, but it’s just me being me. GOD IS GOOD!!!

    Loves me my CHUCK!!!

    Rock on, Chuckaholics! ROCK ON!!!

  9. I’m telling everyone, I believe the “Oh Boy” is when Chuck realizes the church wedding is all a dream, and he wakes up at that point.

I think now, that they’ll run away and get married in secret somewhere. I also think that someone will download the intersect from Orion’s computer, and it will either be Vivian or Alexi.

  10. Yay. An entire episode with Sarah in a hospital bed, waiting for Chuck to save her.

Someone please explain to me how this is a good thing?

    • i agree. looks like a Sarah-less episode.
but i will watch and smile cuz i know it will be back next season!!! thanks NBC for the renewal!!

    • I think there will be sufficient “Sarah looking stunning” in her wedding attire during the “dream sequences” (if that’s what they are) to satisfy the Sarah quotient for the episode. Obviously, the MORE Sarah, the better, but I think there will be enough – and if the focus of the episode is Chuck saving her, then it kind of goes with the territory that there will be “less Sarah” 🙁 this episode. But we’ll survive!!!

    • At some point, with as long as Chuck as been with the CIA, it looks ridiculous if he’s the one always being saved. They’ve spent a good part of this season moving toward a point where Chuck has to be able to protect Sarah for him to feel like he’s worthy of being with her. I know we kind of went through that with Shaw, but I don’t think the point really stuck for Chuck.

I recommend going to Television Without Pity and reading the amazingly well-written recaps of “Chuck vs. the Fear of Death” and “Chuck vs. Phase Three” for some fantastic analysis of the Chuck/Sarah character balance.

  11. OMG!!! its getting interesting o.o

  12. How do we get the Neilson Families to watch!!!

  13. Daniel McFarland

I LOLed so much on the 3rd clip, Casey “new identities, completely untraceable, I made them years ago for times like this, you need them” Casey has one exciting life doing that. I wonder does he have any spare, would be nice to have.

  14. As long as they don’t kill Sarah I’m pretty much open to any other way to ending the season (looks like not series).

Honestly though I think the death of Mama B/Volkoff would help the show going into season 5.

I just hope the whole “going against the CIA” thing and “running to a new life” decision is short lived because honestly I’d feel more comfortable going into next season if they’re already back in the CIA’s good graces.

    • It could be exciting. Like the new, happier version of Prague. 🙂

    • I do agree with you regarding the new identities and “running to a new life”. I really don’t hope/believe that it will end up like this. This is Chuck we’re watching, it can’t finish as if they were fugitives with new names! Or maybe they plan to rename the series for the season 5… Hector? (That was his new identity if they had run away in Prague).

Chuck fixes things, he doesn’t run away, so I’m pretty sure this part will be solved before the ending of the season, and that lead us to… something else to tease us to the new season.

  15. I will still be less than satisfied if there is no wedding. On the run from the CiA does not sound too inspiring either–guess I should be happy with a season 5. Viewership will probably really have to pick up to get an extended season 5—I am feeling like it will be 13 and finished–hope I am wrong. It also kind of bugs me about the loose end relating to Sarah’s real name–will a marriage as Sarah Walker even be a marriage? Did Sarah legally change her name–just one of many loose ends not addressed by F& S through the years.

  16. As excited as I am to see how this season ends, I can’t get worked up about the cliffhanger. Whatever it is, it will all be resolved in the first 30 minutes of Season 5’s premiere (assuming there is a Season 5). Just like Chuck not working in the CIA or running his own private missions, etc. My biggest disappointment of Season 4 is that every good idea they had they didn’t give it life, almost as if they were terrified of the fans’ reactions (think: Shaw hate) and so erred in the opposite extreme, always neatly reassuring everyone that things will be fine.

I’ll be thankful for more Chuck, but any objective fan knows that this show didn’t deserve to be renewed based on Season 4. I hope the writers/producers take more chances if there is a Season 5, because this is one rabid Chuck fan that is tired of being disappointed by the decline in the show’s quality.

I want to believe that the cliffhanger will be something real and altering for the series, but I doubt it.

    • I agree with the point that a lot of really great ideas didn’t quite get off the ground this year the way they did in, say, seasons 2 and 3, but I don’t think the decline in quality is completely related to them not wanting to take chances. I feel like a lot of time was wasted with Buy More scenes that only served to keep certain characters on the show. I also feel like we’ve started to get a “back 9 effect” due to NBC saying “Oh, hey, I know you wrote a great plot arc, but here are some more episodes. You’re welcome!”. That hurts the narrative of the show. I thought last year’s finale was strong, but the episodes leading up to it just weren’t as tight as the rest of the season, and I think the same thing has happened again this year.

My thought? Take the 13 you’ve been given for season 5 and just knock it out of the park with the assumption that you’ve run out of lives.

  17. Wow this is going to be one amazing episode. That first clip with Sarah in the hospital is so emotional, but I’m confident we will get a satisfying resolution, before the cliffhanger.

  18. How long has Chuck called Sarah “baby”? It’s cute but kind of sudden after all this time.

That said, Sick-Sarah talking to him like nothing’s wrong is the most adorable thing ever.

  19. What if the “Oh Boy” is because in curing Sarah and giving them the new “Super New Identities,” it turns out that Sarah Walker is the product of an Intersect, just as Alexi Volkov is. Chuck “Oh Boys” when Sarah reverts to Jenny Burton.

  20. Thanks NBC for season 5. Of course if it is true. Season finale looks really promising. I am very excited to see it. Go Chuck!

  21. ”You do whatever it takes, you save her”

Adam Baldwin said that really well, all 3 scenes are awesome…
    Can’t wait!

  22. The “Oh Boy” is a reference to the way every “Quantum Leap” episode ended. The question is, is that just a fun bit of trivia, or is it sigificant to the star of that show, Scott Bakula, aka, Papa B?

  23. Hi all, I watched the 3 clips – & like the rest of u can’t wait! I particularly liked the 1st & 2nd clips – the idea of Chuck going ‘Phase 3’ is good! I liked Casey & Morgan’s reaction. The 2nd clip with Beckman willing 2 help Chuck save Sarah – u can see Team Orion being developed with Beckman giving Them Blackop Missons. Season 5 is going 2 b a big tribute 2 The A-Team I think because Deckker was the name of the Army guy that was tasked with bringing Hannibal & the Boys in in The A – Team! What do people think?

  24. Oh & Kevan Chuck Started calling Sarah ‘baby’ in vs The Wedding Planner when Chuck returns with Grocarys for dinner with Sarah’s dad Jack – when he enters the apartment Chuck says “Hey Baby, where’s ur dad?……” Hope that helps?

  25. Why did so many people hate season 3 and Daniel Shaw in general?

    • I feel ya. I liked season 3, and I still think it’s better than season 4. I also never really got on board with the whole hating Shaw thing, I actually loved his character. People for some reason actually thought that Sarah was going to choose him over Chuck which is why they hated him. I mean, they had to bring someone else in the mix there…it made them finally getting together all the more satisfying. I mean c’mon, Chuck versus The Other Guy is DEFINITELY one of my favorite episodes of Chuck ever.

  26. Ahhhhhhh(: !!!!! Okay so is it just me or at the end of the first one does Chuck look like he is about to BURST into tears? It’s completely understandable (because I did just watching) but it’s sooo cute how much he loves her!!!!(: <3

  27. Hey, well when one thinks bout & the Chuck/Sarah story – You could say Sarah is the love of Chuck’s life – think bout it – 4 a man who hates Volence, Chuck has litterly killed for Sarah (the afore mentioned Shaw)!

  28. Hi all, I think Chuck & Sarah will have run because of their Knowledge of Agent X. The “Oh Boy” will come after Chuck & Sarah get married. As they are driving into the sunset so 2 speak so Sarah decides 2 finally tell Chuck her Real name which causes an interset moment. What do you think?

  29. If this season ends how I think it will and thet wont mess up the plot of the 5th one, it might be the best so far.

  30. first off, thanks to all the chuckster’s for their devotion to get chuck back for season five and thanks to nbc for listening… the three trailors show a wide array of emotions and it will be a rollercoaster ride for sure. if five is the last season, i hope that the ratings will warrant a full season to wrap up our beloved chuck and send it off the right way. just love this cast and how they relate to each other. it has been a fun ride for sure…..

  31. Jesus Christ, Morgan with Intersect, Its like giving baby a nuke.
