The writers of Castle have put tiny references to Firefly in the show’s dialogue over and over again, so it wouldn’t surprise me if the “awesome” bit was totally a shout-out to Chuck. I’m sure there will be plenty of Firefly-esque stuff in the episode, but we should keep our ears peeled for “intersect”, a grunt or two from Adam, or any other passing references. I’m sure they’re in there.
