Last week a Chuck fan from Puerto Rico emailed with an idea for how he could promote the show in his town. It sounded like a neat idea, if he could pull it off, but I wasn’t sure I’d hear from him again. Never underestimate the Chuck fans! Here’s what our pal WafflemanX/Jose did last Thursday:
After clearing it with the manager of his local Subway, Jose set up a table outside the store where he had his laptop streaming Chuck episodes and a pile of flyers promoting Chuck‘s season finale. He then proceeded to purchase sandwiches for anyone who promised to watch Chuck on Monday. How’s that for hard core! In addition to buying people lunch, Jose also purchased the Nerd Herd kit and ID badge from NBC.com and dressed as a Buy More employee while promoting the show. He reports that he also purchased seasons 1 and 2 on iTunes to have available whenever he needs his Chuck fix.
How about a round of applause for Jose? Way to go, bro!

I love this. NBC would be crazy to let a show like this go – the publicity is off the charts! My relatives in Luton England are Chuckaholics as many fans across the world are. I opted not to cook tonight just so that I will support the Chuckster here in the US. Footlongs for everyone tonight! South Carolina and British Girls love Chuck Bartowski 🙂
