NBC has a couple of newish promos for Chuck. I say “newish” because they’re scenes we’ve already seen in other promos, just edited differently. But you know what? NBC is being creative and mixing it up for Chuck. So far, we’re impressed.

And I’m doing my part too; I told two lady friends today about the show, and they seemed interested in it. It just depends how you present it. I’m going to remind them about the premier a couple of days before. And I’m sending them the link to watch the pilot as well! Go Chuck!
You know what makes me happiest about these promos? That they’re showing that even though Chuck is has these new skillz, he’s still his old geeky self–the reference to Duck Hunt on Nintendo, respondin to Sarah’s “What happened?” after he punched the guy out with, “Something AWESOME!” The first moment that really made me sit up and take notice of Chuck was after he flew and landed the helicopter, how stoked he was that HE HAD LANDED A HELICOPTER, ZOMG!!1! It was the response of a true geek, and I loved that the show got that, and let him be a geek instead of unrealistically turning him in to superspy.
So far, from what we’ve seen in these promos, I think our faith in the writers and creators of Chuck has been justified. 🙂
Wow. It keeps getting better and better. I like the fact that they set these promos up so fans outside the US can watch.

Love all the promotion they are doing, but it still cracks me up that NBC.com makes you watch a commercial before you can watch …. well, a commercial. It’s an ad for their show, do we really need an ad before the ad?
Just shows how rabid the Chuck fans are that they can actually put advertising in a Chuck commercial. I’m surprised that we haven’t seen on TV yet “Next up a Chuck Promo, but first a message from our sponsor”.
Heck if they can make money off the promos, just imagine what they can do when the show comes on.
I sent my brother a copy of the 6 minute promotion and he wrote back
“Cool … ;l have to watch it!”

In a particular clip, or just in general. Because I doubt there is a guy out there that doesn’t love Sarah’s face.
While that may be true, I strongly suspect that the Sarah face being referenced is probably the wide-eyed, open-mouthed, raised-eye brow look of shock that’s displayed on the lower add.

During the airing of the movie “The Incredibles” they had 3 promos on. The first one looked new. It was using the same scenes as the other promos but it was edited differently, and had new lines in the voice over.
If I’m not mistaken it was a minute long too.
I know, I recorded the movie just so I could watch the Chuck promos. That’s two NBC shows I have done that with now.
