PREVIEW: Chuck vs. the Honeymooners

Chuck is back! Tonight’s episode picks up where we left off three weeks ago, with our favorite couple enjoying finally having the will they/won’t they resolved. Of course, it wouldn’t be Chuck if some spying weren’t involved.

Chuck AND Sarah GO ON A EUROPEAN ADVENTURE – While in Europe, Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) and Chuck (Zachary Levi) realize they’re traveling on a train with Spanish spies. Even though they’re all alone, they decide to take on these rogue agents. Of course, this impromptu mission doesn’t go smoothly. Meanwhile, Beckman (Bonita Friedericy) orders her newest “unlikely” spy team – John Casey (Adam Baldwin) and Morgan Grimes (Joshua Gomez) – to track down the missing couple. Sarah Lancaster, Ryan McPartlin, Scott Krinsky and Vik Sahay also star.

No promo photos were released for this episode, but plenty of clips were! Check out a sneak peek from E! Online and promos that ran on NBC. Below we have the promo from City TV in Canada, but watch out, it’s spoilery! Be sure to join us in discussing what sounds like an amazing episode on Twitter and in our forum. “Chuck vs. the Honeymooners” airs tonight at 8/7c on NBC.

  1. Countdown! I’m incredibly excited!

  2. I think this may be the most anticipated episode of Chuck – ever.

  3. Woo hoo!!! Chuck’s on tonight!!

  4. hopefully they will still be together until the end…

  5. I really hope that they won’t ever split up. I don’t mind complications though.. They’re spies so there’s no happily ever after for them.. but please mr/mrs writers don’t antagonize the fans by crushing our hopes.. On another note I’m really excited about this episode!

    • they’ve brought Chuck and Sarah so far already, I doubt their going to let them separate now. I wouldn’t worry it’ll be ok. Hope that helps.

  6. All the critics who blog and tweet online that have seen the episode have all given it a big thumbs up: Alan Sepinwall, Mo Ryan, Kristin Dos Santos, Televisionary (Jace Lucas). I’m really looking forward to it.

As for Charah, now that they are officially a couple, I believe TPTB will keep them together. Sure, there will be some drama–it’s television, but they won’t be splitting them up.

  7. Guys,

  8. I can’t wait. Only 40 minutes left. i was waiting all day and counting down the hours. i’ve turned off my phone so i can enjoy an hour of my beloved chuck.

  9. No Chuck in Portland OR, freakin blazer game is on and we are getting hosed.

    • Bunch of junk, no chuck in Oregon because of the stupid Blazer game!!! When do we get to watch???? What the heck? I have been looking forward to it all week just to find a stupid basketball game on!!! SUCK!!!

  10. I definitely think this might be the most anticipated Chuck episode ever (of course it is: you’ve got Chuck and Sarah in bed with Sarah in her bra). I really can’t wait to see this. It’s going to be really good!

  11. Sheer agony. I live in Portland, Oregon and they’re airing the basketball game tonight. I won’t be able to watch until it’s available On Demand or online. Serieously, not a huge basketball fan, but the Blazers better win, if they’re going to be putting me through this torturous wait!

  12. My lord, did they turn up the sex meter on Sarah? I mean she’s always been remarkable, but I have the feeling we’re going to see a much sexier Sarah going forward. And with the show on the bubble, that can only help the ratings- I hope. What a show tonight, great scrpting, great action, lot of fun. And did I mention Sarah spent most of it in her underwear?

    • Couldn’t agree more this was one of my favorite episodes ever. To me it was one of the funniest. The only thing that was kind of goofy was that sarah didn’t want to leave the spy life even though she always talks about wanting a real life. I guess if she can have both why not. Loved the episode though

  13. Oh so many great moments in this episode….Chuck and Sarah as a couple, was a sheer delight to watch, especially with their southern accents..raarr. Casey and Morgan together…priceless, the rucksack with the Canadian patch….it’s a cliche, hahaha. And Morgan retreiving his boarding pass from his secret money pouch.
Jeffster’s version of “Leaving on a Jet Plane”, very well done….loved the John Denver glasses on Jeff.
Ellie asking Devon “what are these” (the weights in the suitcase)…Babe, this is not by accident…referring to his well defined chest and biceps.
My favorite episode of this season by far. Loved all the comedy and light heartedness.

  14. I give last night’s episode a ten out of ten. It had it all. There was romance, Sarah looking smoking hot, action, comedy, twists, and the best fight scene that the show has ever pulled off. I would hate to get kicked by those boots that Sarah was wearing.

It’s been said more than once, but Zachary Levi and Yvonne Strahovski have more chemistry than any duo I have seen on TV in a long time.

Plus, Morgan and Casey are going to make a great team, as soon as Casey realizes what Morgan’s strengths are. Morgan knows people, and he especially knows Chuck.

And the ending, had us all “Feeling Good.”

    Best lines:

Chuck to Sarah: “Wow, you make terrorists names sound sexy.”

Casey to Morgan: “Chuck’s going to need a walker by the time Walker gets through with him.”

Beckman to Chuck and Sarah after they tell her they’re dating: “Off the record, it’s about damn time.” (Who knew Beckman was a ‘shipper?)

  15. ”Oh Charlie baby, look what I did. I made an oopsie” That had me ROFL Yvonne is great at a cute ditzy blonde complete with an adorable southern accent.

  16. F&S owned the relationship….And the People Rejoiced!!!! Perfect song for Chuck to play for Sarah, perfect sweetness to the close of the episode, perfect Morgan and Casey moments. “It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, feeling good.”

  17. Did not know F&S had this in them. This is easily the best episode of Season 3 and possibly of all the seasons. The fights with Chuck and Sarah handcuffed together were great fun. Without the angst there was plenty of time for comedy and romance. It was good to see Sarah and Chuck both with smiles on their faces.–C&S together can allow for a wonderful upgrade in the comedy and adventure(would mean an increase in viewers). Morgan and Casey were priceless. Even Gen. Beckman’s last comment was like a little surprise gift. I worry that Shaw may not be dead–hope I am wrong, but if not hopefully he dies rapidly without screwing up any of the key relationships.
Let’s get us a season 4 with all the episodes as much fun as episode 14!!

  18. All i have to say is FINALLY last night was the greatest episode in my opinion. Me and my friend all love the show and have made it our personal goal to get our other friends who dont watch the show to watch the show and for them to do the same to there friends. So far so good with it. I feel bad for portland thankfully i was far enough south in Oregon Springfield to be exact i was able to watch the show

  19. WHEN THE HELL IS THE PODCAST FOR 3X14!?!?!?!?!?////??????????
