Yvonne Strahovski has been nominated for Best Performance by a Human Female at the 2010 Video Game Awards. Her role as Miranda Lawson in Mass Effect 2 garnered a lot of attention earlier this year, and now she’s being honored for her performance. The VGA’s air December 11 on SpikeTV.

Her performance as Miranda Lawson was tremendous! Especially since it was the first time she was doing voice-over for a video game!
She said that she found it difficult because she was acting against no one, and only with her voice, but she did an amazing job, with the same kind of emotion and professionalism she’s doing on “Chuck”!
She totally deserve to win!

Also, did the Greendale Human Being get nominated? If so, is in the male or female category.
I’m glad to see this. Her work in Mass Effect 2 is what got me interested in Chuck in the first place.
Likewise…Seeing both Yvonne and Adam in the B.T.S. voice cast promo video for Mass Effect 2 jogged my memory of a short clip from a S1 ep of Chuck I’d seen a long time before…A few weeks after Mass Effect 2 came out, I downloaded the Chuck pilot from XBox Live, and the rest is history! 🙂
Her vocal presence made the game pretty enjoyable and fun to play, hope she wins.
Wooo! I loved her in the game! I actually had her as my companion the whole time. and like Pontifex said, It was through Mass Effect that I actually got hooked on Chuck as well!
While I don’t do video gaming myself, I can only assume that she did the same kind of phenomenal job on the game as she does on Chuck.
I’m sure her nomination is well deserved.

heh, yeah her work as miranda was what got me into chuck as well and if u r just starting out on insanity difficulty with that game? miranda quickly becomes squad mvp. i’m curious now which of her lines got her the nomination in particular. she basically played an ice queen that slowly melted pending on your interactions with her. it should also be noted that adam baldwin did a fantastic job as kal reegar, a tough as nails quarian marine that will get the job done no matter what.
