Yvonne Strahovski Lends Her Voice to The 3rd Birthday

Yvonne Tweeted back in December that she was involved with the new video game The 3rd Birthday, and now Silicon Era reveals that she’s lending her voice to Aya, the lead female character in the game.

“I was immediately interested when Square Enix approached me with the opportunity to play Aya Brea in The 3rd Birthday. I love Aya – she’s strong, driven and ready to take on the world,” Yvonne says about her character. Jensen Ackles from Supernatural voices the male lead, Kyle Madigan.

Photos attached of Yvonne in the voice studio and Aya herself. The 3rd Birthday will be released for PSP on March 29. Pre-order now for $29.99.

  1. That’s pretty cool! Don’t have a PSP, though, so I won’t be getting this game…Hope we’ll get to see/hear Yvonne return as Miranda Lawson in Mass Effect 3 at the end of this year (even if it is just a brief cameo).

    • It’s highly likely that she’ll be in the entire game (as long as she didn’t die in 2)

It would be an extremely bad idea if Bioware were to repeat the whole ‘recruit a team’ thing again and storytelling wise doesn’t make sense.

  2. With Yvonne’s endorsement, I may just have to invest in PSP

  3. Is this Yvonne’s second or third video game that she has voiced? It’s funny, I read in a bio of hers somewhere once that she said she didn’t like video games, she must have changed her mind along the way being around all of those gamers on the Chuck set. 🙂 She’s got a great voice, so Kudos to Yvonne.

  4. She’s got a marvellous voice. I’m tempted to pull out my “Chuck” DVDs and close my eyes when she comes on and just listen to her talk. Problem is I can’t bring myself to close my eyes when she appears.

  5. I’m not a video game fan, but I’m glad that more and more people get to hear her on these media. More success to Yvonne, I’m a big Sarah Walker fan
