Friday Five: Recommended Chuck Fansites

We’re pretty proud of the site we’ve created here at ChuckTV.net in the last four years, striving to serve fans with the latest news, spoilers, exclusive interviews, fun podcasts, and special features. But although we’re the oldest Chuck fansite, we’re certainly not the only one and we have a few favorites among them. This week, we’re taking Twitter’s #FollowFriday tradition a step further and presenting our top five recommended Chuck fansites (that aren’t ChuckTV.net):

1. Chuck This Blog – Joe, Ernie, Faith, Amy, et al. have created a site that analyzes Chuck from a variety of lenses, including sociological, allegorical, psychological, affective, and referential. Which is just a fancy way of saying they write good.
2. Sarah Walker Fangirls – I’ve had the honor of guesting on the SWFG podcast a few times and always enjoy a chance to talk about the show from the perspective of Sarah’s character.
3. We Give A Chuck – Kris and Rachel spearheaded the Chuck renewal efforts this year with their #NotANielsenFamily campaign. They’re coming up with some creative ideas for the summer hiatus, so be sure to stop by and be inspired.
4. Chuck Me Up – A random Chuck quote generator that never fails to serve up a smile. With so many great one-liners in Chuck history, you could refresh the site all day without getting bored.
5. FanFiction.net – I’m not a big reader of fan fiction in general, but there are some outstanding writers in the Chuck fandom who serve up terrific continuations, gap-fillers, and alt versions of the show. Definitely a good way to fill a hiatus.
