A lot of our fashion questions are about items Sarah has worn on the show because, let’s face it, her wardrobe is amazing! This week we’re turning the fashion spotlight on the other woman in Chuck’s life: Ellie. Most of her early appearances involved scrubs, but when she’s off-duty, Dr. Bartowski-Woodcomb rocks some cute tops.
Jess wanted to know where she could find the pretty purple floral top Ellie wore in “Chuck vs. the A-Team”. The soft navy and purple cami is the silk Rebecca Taylor Wave At Me Cami from last year. You can pick it up in the colors Ellie wore, get in pale pink or get it in a blouse. I’ll tell you what, if it weren’t silk, I’d be all over this one!
Ellen is curious about the brown cowl-necked top Ellie wore at the end of “Chuck vs. the Family Volkoff”. This is actually a maternity sweater from Pea in the Pod – necessary because actress Sarah Lancaster was about five months pregnant when the episode was filmed. If you watch that scene over, you’ll notice that she keeps the baby blanket in front of her stomach the whole time. (Note: I lightened the screencap so you could see Ellie’s top better; this actually takes place at night.)
Ellie showed some style pizzazz during her pregnancy with Baby Clara, too, prompting Mackenzie to ask about the tunic top she wore play charades with looney tunes Volkoff in “Chuck vs. the Leftovers”. For that festive occasion Ellie wore the wool Ella Moss Short Sleeve Button Detail Maternity Tunic in navy (she’s wearing it as a dress). It’s currently on major markdown, so snap it up if you have a baby bump growing!
I love the way Ellie dresses. I have never really been a fan of sarahs clothes.
I, too, like the clothes that Ellie wears. They all seem to have a soft, feminine look to them. With Sarah Lancaster’s beautiful eyes, skin and coloring, she makes all of her clothes look beautiful.
