Oh Chris Fedak, you sure do know how to get fans in a tizzy. In a new interview with IGN, the Chuck showrunner teases what’s coming up in the final season, including the possibility of characters from the past returning for a final bow. Here’s an excerpt:
IGN: There are a lot of characters that you’ve introduced through the years. Might we see some of them again as the series comes to a close?
Fedak: Oh yeah. We definitely want to bring some characters back this year. Hopefully we’ll bring back some that the audience really wants to see and maybe a few they don’t
IGN: I’m gonna throw out a couple of character names here. I’ve got to try! Shaw? And I know Jordana Brewster just joined another show [TNT’s new version of Dallas], but you and I talked before about the question of where Jill is these days…
Fedak: [Does a series of exaggerated blinks]
IGN: [Laughs] Damn, I don’t know Morse code!
Fedak: Ah, if only you knew Morse code then you would have your answer!

I’d LOVE to see Shaw And Jill again in the show! Make it happen please! It’d be so cool to see Chuck in a face off with his greatest enemy Daniel Shaw again, oh yes! I also want to know what happened to Jill. Good characters!

I wouldn’t mind seeing Cole again. He was the first spy who treated Chuck with a degree of friendship and respect. Folks bristle because he put the moves on Sarah, but in the end, he realized he didn’t have a chance. I thought he was a good character and would like to see him come back and help the team one more time.
Wouldn’t mind seeing Jill again.. However, PLEASE don’t bring back Shaw. Him going from Good to Bad. From Dead to Alive etc was enough.
Agreed, it would be too much to reuse him AGAIN.
Jill: yes please! Shaw: I could live without it.

I would also like to add Bryce to the list of characters I would love to see return. A girl can dream, right? 🙂
That sounds great, however I would like to see them go all out in season 5 and bring back BRYCE LARKIN, they have done it before. lol
If there is one single thing that would make me scream, is only if the following quote were as true as I wish it was. And judging by the ending of season 4, I just might be right.
“Well, I see how I could have given you that impression. I had to die quite a few times—it’s one of the perils of being Orion.”

Unless they plan on doing a DIY episode, Sh** is best forgotten.
No – seriously – can someone show me how to forget that extremely poor Dementor of a character.
Shaw needs to stay dead. forever. thats it. I watch some of the season 3 episodes that he is in and think to myself I really hope that sarah actually killed when she whacked him in the head. He was a good character at the time, he played his part well but some people should just stay locked in a CIA Blacksite or for all intesive purposes Dead.
