In this week’s E! Online spoiler chat, Zachary Levi addresses the questions about a possible spy baby or any more weddings in the works for the final season of Chuck.

Were you hoping for Chuck and Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) to have a little spy-baby? Or maybe a wedding commitment ceremony between Jeff (Scott Krinsky) and Lester (Vik Sahay)? Hate to burst your bubble, but according to Zachary Levi, even though Yvonne told us she wants a spy-bambino, there will no wedding bells or bouncing babies in the final season. “No more weddings this season with any of the other characters. And no more babies,” he tells us. “This season will be like the others, with that same kind of tone and fun uniqueness that Chuck has always had. Plenty of comedy, drama, hijinx, all that jazz!” Good enough for us…and to celebrate with jazz hands.
So we can stop speculating about that. What shall we fixate on now?
Since Chuck & Sarah are married now i don’t understand what other wedding was expected in this last season so i see no news here.
As for babies.. i remember Fedak said he’s done with babies so i see nothing new in this article.
What Yvonne said at Comic`Con is what she thought about season5 (without reading any script or having verified info)

I don’t think that anybody was expecting a baby. I don’t know that his comment ruled out a pregnancy.
The only question that remains is what did Fedak referred to when he said something is going to happen between Chuck & Sarah if babies are out of the question… 😕
Thank goodness there isn’t gonna be a spy baby because that would have ruined the whole show!
I’ll admit, I’m sort of disappointed in the “no baby for Chuck and Sarah” news. I was hoping we’d at least get a finale or fast forward and see littel superheroes with capes, but whatever. I think I have to start lowering my expectations for this final season:(
Kinda sucks that the lack of a baby is ruining your expectations for the season. I didn’t realize people were so set on that happening.
And one other thing, who could’ve been getting married this season? Weird sort of comment to make, isn’t it?
Morgan and Alex? Casey and Gertrude? General Beckman and Roan Montgomery?
Ah….Beckman and Roan would’ve been fun!! I would’ve thought Morgan and Casey would get engaged first, but Casy and Gertrude might’ve been a possibility I guess.
Speccing on the conspiracy theory might be fun to talk about.
I don’t mind it, if Chuck/Sarah aren’t having a pregnancy/birth/baby during the final season.
A pregnant/new mom Sarah couldn’t/shouldn’t go on missions.
There is always Ellie/Awesome’s little one to look after, which could make for funny scenes for “want to be parents” too.
I do hope however that towards the end of the show or the final episode(s) or in a flash forward they’ll at the very least get the news that Sarah is expecting a baby from Chuck.
Even from Zac, I wouldn’t take the “no babies” comment as authoritative. By their own admissions, they don’t know the plot developments until they see the scripts, and they are only as far as episode 3 or 4 (?) by this point. Last year, plenty of people were claiming that there would be no C&S wedding in season 4. Count on everyone to keep us off-track and surprised.

Thank you for that response. I was starting to feel a bit disappointed with the news I’d been hearing or lack of news re; C/S, and when I read this, I was bummed by it. But you actually made me feel better. And I think they are currently shooting ep 3, so they can’t possibly know that far ahead to what is happening the 2nd half of the season.

I’m hoping for Carah Baby, Alex and Morgan being Married.
Honestly I don’t want there to be a Chuck and Sarah baby introduced in the 5 season perhaps towards the end the could announce her pregnancy but I’m not really bothered. Although I do think that an episode where Chuck and Sarah have to look after the baby Awesome might be entertaining.
i like chuck allot and those cool flashes of him but he and sarah that romans is great i really like it great show
According to Chris Fedak in an interview after NBC confirms season 5 he said he would like to investigate a baby Chuck in the new season.
I really hope that they would at least get the pregnancy in the story in the end. It would have been good closure to the show. And by the way in Alias season 5 Sydney was also pregnant while on missions so it´s not so impossible combination.
