Friday Five: New Projects for the Chuck Cast

I suppose we couldn’t keep them to ourselves forever. Hollywood is discovering the cast of Chuck, meaning that we’ll be seeing familiar faces in new projects on TV and in movie theaters. Here’s a quick rundown of five new projects the Chuck cast have coming up in the next couple of months.

  1. Game Time: Tackling the Past – Ryan McPartlin stars in this made-for-TV movie about a smalltown boy who makes it big in the NFL. He returns home after his father suffers a heart attack and has to face some troubling memories from his past. Game Time: Tackling the Past airs September 3 on NBC.
  2. Afghan Luke – Vik Sahay co-stars in this independent film about a freelance journalist (Nick Stahl) whose explosive stories on Canadian soldiers have not been happily received by his editors. The film screens at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 11 and September 14.
  3. Killer Elite – Yvonne Strahovski co-stars with Jason Statham, Robert DeNiro and Clive Owen in this movie about operatives on a lethal manhunt. Killer Elite opens in US theaters September 23.
  4. No Rest for the Wicked: A Basil & Moebius Adventure – This short film stars Zachary Levi as Moebius (with an English accent) and Ray Park as Basil, a pair of  lovable rogues who must steal a valuable artifact for their employer. No Rest for the Wicked premieres at Fantastic Fest in Austin, TX, September 22-29.
  5. The Finder – Mercedes Masohn replaced Saffron Burrows as the female lead in this new series from FOX about an innate ability to find people or things. The Finder premieres this Fall on FOX.
And that’s just what they have releasing this Fall! More projects are on the way in 2012, and we’ll have the deets here as they are available.

Can somebody tell me when the website changed the look of it? I haven’t been on in a long time.

  9. I’ll have to take a look at these. I’ll support them in all their future endeavours, because they’re all like friends to me, and I Support My Friends. Thanks.
My question is, do you think they’ll make a movie out of Chuck? Would you watch?
