2012 In Review: Chris Fedak & Josh Schwartz

In addition to our usual Chuck Year in Review feature, coming later this month, we thought it would be fun to take a look at what some of the Chuck cast and crew have done this year following the end of the series. See the complete round up here.

Now that we’ve taken a look at what the cast have been up to in 2012, let’s see what the co-creators of Chuck have been working on since the show ended.

Chris Fedak is writing the screenplay for a feature film about famed illusionist Harry Houdini, to be directed by Mark Waters. He is also working on the pilot for a new series for FOX based on the young adult book series [easyazon-link asin=”0060519533″]Midnighters[/easyazon-link], to be produced by Josh Schwartz’s company Fake Empire. Chris is also working on another pilot project that has not yet been announced.

Josh Schwartz has the [easyazon-link asin=”0060519533″]Midnighters[/easyazon-link] series in the works with Chris, plus about 12 other pilot and feature film projects in various stages of development with his production company. His Halloween movie Fun Size came out in 2012, and in addition to Chuck, Josh’s other series from 2007, Gossip Girl, ended this year. Hart of Dixie is having successful sophomore season on the CW, and two more Fake Empire projects – The Carrie Diaries and Cult (with music by composer Tim Jones) – launch on the network in January and February respectively.

This concludes our look back at what various people involved with Chuck have done since the show ended in January. Hope you enjoyed the walk down memory lane!
