Brace yourself — at 92 minutes, this is by far our longest podcast ever! We were finally able to include Gray’s interview with editor Kevin Mock, which he taped a few months ago.

We also have lots of discussion about the ratings, Chuck vs. the Final Exam, and Chuck‘s current direction.

  1. Hey chuck fans,

I’ll admit I’m a newbie to leaving comments and participating in forums but after listening to the latest chuck podcast I felt inspired to participate.
I really respect the discussion on the pros and cons of the darkness the show has taken but to be honest, I LOVE it! I don’t watch the show for the intertwined love story of Chuck and Sarah but because it is a fun and evolving show about a possible spy. I think the producers have gotten it right in the story telling of this changing family dynamic and character development. No one goes through life with constant ups, there are lows that enable us to appreciate the highs. I think fans should remember that there is a need to have a ‘darker’ side even though I would actually call it a maturation of the show that we all love so that it can go in a direction we all want.

I am sorry I can’t help with the ratings considering it doesn’t air on free TV in Australia but is there a way to support Chuck for a Season 4? I am flying over from Sydney to attend Comic Con on Sunday 25th of July in hopes to see and support Chuck but if there is anything else I could do please forward or post the information.

Thanks for the great podcast, you guys always do a great job!

  2. It’s quite interesting to see the new angle setted up this week. Chuck have a new secret. He didn’t really past his “Red Test”, Casey did. I can’t help to wonder how the writers will work that one in. Chuck will be expected to be able to kill if he receives the order to do so. He’ll be anywhere in the world and you can’t really expect him to pack up Casey in with him everytime and everywhere. How will he copes with the order he’ll receive.

We have to be on Awesome and Morgan watch too since they are reacting differently to the secret they keep. Will it eventually put them in Jeopardy again? It did already with Devon, what about Morgan who would actually be more prone to jump in front of a bullet with a magic thought that nothing could hurt a superhero sidekick.

I can’t help to wonder who’s behind the Ring. We never quite knew what really happened to Chuck mom. We know that she left first… that’s about it. Did she “died”? Did she “left” to protect her family too? Was there just issues with her husband that would have cause to abandon her kids? From all we know Chuck parents were both decent. Could it be Orion behind the Ring, protecting himself even with Fulcrum for the Greater good? Where does Shaw stands? Is he a double double agent? Did he learn everything about Chuck by making Beckman he was burned in the Ring? If it was so wouldn’t it be natural that the first task would be to remove Chuck from under the protection of Sarah and Casey?

What about Chuck and Sarah? Will we see Jack Burton again once we are abroad? Would Sarah marry chuck under her real name even if no one else except her dad would know it actually is it?

We’ve been set up and the writers did it well. If you have a mind to it, youl’ll do like me and you will watch until it’s over.

  3. That’s me!!! I’m the tattoo girl! Thanks guys for putting that in it was really cool to see!

  4. Thanks for another great podcast. The interview with Kevin felt a little long to me though. But thanks for going out of your way to find people working on the show to interview.

  5. Wow, awesome podcast! @AiglineO at the Comic Con in Sydney, are the stars actually going to be there? You have a website with info?
