SPOILERS: Chuck 4.10 Official Synopsis

NBC has just released the official synopsis for Chuck episode 4.10, “Chuck vs. the Leftovers”, which includes a crucial detail not given in the short synopsis:

CHUCK FACES A HIGH-STAKES HOLIDAY WHEN UNEXPECTED GUESTS ARRIVE FOR A THANKSGIVING “LEFTOVERS” DINNER – MONET MAZUR, LINDA HAMILTON AND TIMOTHY DALTON GUEST STAR – It’s the day after Thanksgiving and Chuck (Zachary Levi) faces the most awkward of family reunions when mom (guest star Linda Hamilton) comes over for dinner—along with the dangerous Alexei Volkoff (guest star Timothy Dalton). Back at the Buy More, Morgan (Joshua Gomez) deals with the busiest shopping day of the year as Jeff (Scott Krinsky) and Lester (Vik Sahay) hatch their latest scheme. Yvonne Strahovski, Sarah Lancaster, Ryan McPartlin, Adam Baldwin and Mark Christopher Lawrence also star.

First, I believe this means Monet Mazur is our GRETA in this episode. Second, why is Volkoff coming to dinner?!?!

  1. Uh oh. 😮 Wouldn’t be too dangerous for Ma B to bring Team’s arch enemy to their home? And with the whole gang there too. Talk about high risk and Volkoff would know where they are. None of them would be safe.

    • i thought volkoff thought they died in that blast unless its another trick and why would he come for dinner unless he found out that shes his mom?? i hate having so many questions lol cant wait grrrr xD 😀

      • i agree, this is deffinatly gotta be some sort of set up, as volkoff woudl of thought they were both dead, unless he is now finding out mama b is chucks mom. and they are very brave to do it in such a place where sarah is there and casey proably wont be to far away if not there! i really cant handle the anticipation of having to wait to find out…..:)

  2. Seriously Volkoff joins the family for turkey day? Sound wierd.. let’s see how this plays out…

  3. …This should be good! I have faith in Zach, and Henry Meyer wrote the best episode this season!

  4. “First, I believe this means Monet Mazur is our GRETA in this episode.” – I’d go with her being another Volkoff operative.

  5. Well it would be an easy way to either bring ellie into the game or have another chuck ellie moment that he pedges to leave the spy game. Either way Volkof realizes they arent dead there would be only one person to blame Mama B bringing her into some witness protection thing.

  6. Whoa….Volkoff and Mama B just show up for T-day leftovers!?!? I’m guessing this is the last episode before the big December break so we might have a major cliffhanger!! This may be a bit off topic and I know others have said it before but this season has just been a real joy to watch. Every episode keeps me wanting more and are very well done. I know that opinions differ on what makes a good episode but I think we can all agree that this show is consistently amazing at just about every level.

    • Pulling for Sarah!

Hey, I agree with you. With the constant emotional rollercoaster of Season 3, I was very hesitant to watch Season 4. I like the fact the writers are keeping Sarah and Chuck together. This season has been a joy to watch, especially the Sarah/Chuck exploring their relationship episodes and Sarah sticking with Chuck no matter what.

What I would like to see is some Sarah/Ellie bonding. During episode 4, I was kinda miffed that Ellie only thank Chuck for saving them when Sarah had the flank. I just wish Ellie would be more appreciative to Sarah about all that Sarah has done to protect her and Awesome.

  7. Hmm…Maybe Volkoff isn’t what he appears to be…

  8. Well, NBC wrote this synopsis sufficiently vague to not spoil the 4.08/4.09 two-parter. No mention of the Intersect or deciphering of secrets left behind by dad. Where they resolved or not? Thinking that to Volkoff, the leftovers ARE Chuck and Sarah.

  9. hey did anyone else notice that Volkoff’s name was “originally” Gregory Tuttle, and in ‘Chuck vs. the Fat Lady,’ that bad guy that keeps showing up everywhere drives a van that says “TUTTLE Electric?” They’re recycling names!

    • The man driving the Tuttle van was a Fulcrum operative, so I’ll assume some corporate kinship between Fulcrum and Volkoff Industries.

    • now youve mentioned it, i did spot that aswell, may be im starting to think that maybee tuttle isnt volkoff, and mama b set them up again to protect the real volkoff, aah i dont know, but all these clues make me confused for ore answers, and we have to wait all this time… PAINFUL:)

    • Pulling for Sarah!

That was a good catch! I don’t think they are recycling name, though. Maybe there is more to Tuttle than we know. Split personality…I know I’m reaching. My husband has found small clues in other episodes that would generally go unnoticed but did fit into the storyline.

  10. waaah! this is sooo exciting!!! i want CHUCK to air every monday, why there’s no CHUCK this December!? T_T January is too long to w8..c’mon NBC.. :))

  11. Talk about scary and fun. 🙂 Can’t wait.

  12. I HATE IT.

I really hate that I have to wait over two full weeks before this episode is on, but I love S4 of Chuck. Best season ever.

  13. I think it’s a triple-cross. If Volkoff is Russian and the mission started 20 years ago, about the time the Soviet Union collapsed, then he and Mamma B are both in deep cover trying to keep the intersect away from an unknown third party, i.e. Father Ralph de Bricassart. The blowing up of the Bartowski house was to protect the cover of Chuck, Sarah, Mamma B, and Volkoff. Something in that new intersect, that Chuck’s brain hasn’t worked out holds the key.

  14. Well, Zachary Levi DID direct “Chuck Vs. The Beard,” and THAT was the funniest and best of Season 3. So I’m expecting lightning to strike twice…

  15. Obviously Volkoff will realize after the next two episodes that Chuck and Sarah aren’t dead. He will try to take care of left-over business since Chuck and Sarah are the only CIA spies who have gotten close to Volkoff Industries (with the exception of Morgan and Casey).

  16. Volkoff n Mom B Are Brother sister?
So That way They Are join For Dinner….
    waaah! this is sooo exciting!!!

  17. Mom B and her friend (may not be a true friend) are the #1 targets of the US government to be arrested–This should place Elllie and Chuck in a clumsy and very dangerous position—also Sarah and Casey probably have blood in their eyes and want to put them behind bars—Ma B must surely end up a good guy (gal)

  18. Based on greek mythology of the name on the box that chucks mom got the device out of and the style of the show. I think Chuck will not get the intersect back next episode. His mom and volkov will come to pick up their newest operative. Remember in the basement Volkov stated “I beleive you work for me”. Later I think Chucks mom will pull a Darth Vader and take down Volkov at her own expense. Unless they can convince Linda Hamilton to join the show.(at least for another season)

    My question…
-?whats the deal with ellies car? does it hold a cool backup of orion or a smaller intersect, Does it have defense measures, like traffic camera e-vasion or can just summon a predator at will or have it’s own special mission like undoing mindcontrol on chuck (and maybe his mom)??

    CAN’T WAIT

  19. What if “the leftovers” are the remains of the Chuck’s memories?? I mean, in the preview the belgian’s doctor said “lobotomy”, so…

  20. Just a thought, but it says that Mama B shows up for dinner, ALONG with Volkoff. Not with him. So I could be arguing semantics, but maybe Mama B is checking in with the family to see how they are following their encounter with The Belgian and Volkoff has a tail on her, so he shows up to see what she’s up to?

  21. I just watched the First Fight over and Volkoff doesn’t say Chuck is working for him, but that he believed Chuck was looking for him. I hope Chuck gets the intersect back next episode!! That was a great episode, but I hated when Sarah told Chuck that he wasn’t a spy. I would love to see him become a better spy even without the intersect. Can’t wait to see Ep 10! Maybe Chuck and Sarah have to hide while Mama B and Volkoff are there looking for something.

  22. Sounds like Chuck and Ellie may both be at risk. Will Ellie have more sweet potatoes with marshmellows for Morgan? I assume the storyline the writers come up with will make more sense than this spoiler.
